These days Canary Wharf is not only home to global corporate names like HSBC, Citigroup and Morgan Stanley, it’s also home to excellent shopping and entertaining options. Crossrail Place, a recent addition which sits atop what will be the Canary Wharf Crossrail station, is not only home to new shops, restaurants and a great cinema. Pop up on the roof and watch a music or theatrical performance amongst the bamboo of its global garden.
Getting Around:
Nicely positioned just below Canary Wharf in the Isle of Dogs, Mudchute is a booming business district with a lovely residential area that feels very much disconnected from the rush of London. You have a newly created park, with great views of the city skyline and docks area. Being in East London, The DLR is your best transport option taking you to other parts of East London such as Limehouse, Poplar or Cannington that can connect you to other rail services.
