Built in the early 1900s in the heart of the historic center, it underwent two major renovations: the first before 1952, when, following a flood that destroyed the town, the house was rebuilt while preserving its load-bearing structure—in particular, the walls made of large blocks of granite and local stone; a second between 2023 and 2025, during which efforts were made to preserve the building’s distinctive architectural features, the original windows and doors, and the original furnishings wherever possible, while also installing modern amenities and equipment to ensure well-being and comfort.
The house has two separate living units: one on the first floor and one on the first floor.
The apartment in question is located on the first floor, measures approximately 35 square meters, and consists of an enclosed loggia furnished with a table, chairs, a sofa, and a TV; a kitchenette equipped with a full set of dishes, a microwave, and a coffee maker; a bedroom with two single beds (which can also be used as a double bed); and a bathroom with a shower.
The property features a shared inner courtyard of approximately 80 square meters.
We are located in Sarrabus, the southeastern part of Sardinia, specifically in San Vito. The town is nestled in a hilly and mountainous area, offering spectacular panoramic views. San Vito has ancient historical roots, with evidence of human settlements dating back to the Nuragic era. The town preserves traces of its past through various archaeological sites and historical monuments. Among these, the nuraghi, the tombs of the giants, and other prehistoric structures are of particular interest. The local culture is deeply influenced by Sardinian traditions.
San Vito is an ideal destination for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. The surrounding area offers numerous hiking trails that wind through breathtaking landscapes, forests, and mountainous terrain. Among the natural attractions, the Parco dei Sette Fratelli is a popular destination for hiking, picnicking, and wildlife viewing, including the Sardinian deer and the golden eagle. Although not located directly on the coast, San Vito is close to several beautiful beaches in southern Sardinia. Among these, Costa Rei and Villasimius are easily accessible and famous for their crystal-clear waters and white sands. Overall, the area offers endless possibilities and leisure activities. Whether you’re looking for relaxation, tranquility, or a variety of recreational activities, there’s something for everyone.
The entire village is within walking distance, and in addition to the traditional restaurant and pizzeria, there are numerous local shops and several bars, as well as all necessary services (ATM, post office, bank, etc.).
There is also a large supermarket at the entrance to the village and several others in nearby Muravera.
