This cosy cottage is situated at the harbour area of Newcastle with spectacular uninterrupted views of Dundrum bay. It is approximately a 20 minute leisurely walk to Newcastle town centre. However within a short walking distance (3 minutes) there are two traditional pubs, each with restaurant, two cafes and a small convenience store. Access to the Mourne Mountains is a 2 min walk from rear of property.
Accommodation comprises 2 double bedrooms sleeping maximum of 4 people. Both rooms have black out curtains. Sitting room with open fire, starter pack provided, (also oil fired central heating), FreeSat SMART TV(Netflix, etc). Kitchen with electric hob and oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine/tumble dryer, full size fridge-freezer, filter coffee machine, etc. Bathroom with bath and electric overhead shower. Toiletries provided. Hairdryers in both bedrooms, all linens and towels (Excluding beach towels) included. Front and rear garden provide seating. BBQ available, charcoal not provided.
The rear garden of the property is elevated behind the cottage and is accessed by steps as you can see in the photos.
Parking is on the road in front of the cottages. This is a narrow two way road and I would please ask you to use common sense when parking , so as not to obstruct the road for other users.
Parking is also available on the road behind the cottage. Access is via rear garden gate.
DOGS ARE ALWAYS WELCOME BY PRIOR ARRANGEMENT. I just ask they are not on the leather furniture. Also that they do not go upstairs or that they are on the beds. I will put a stairgate in place to help with this. If your dog sleeps in the bedroom with you then I'm sorry but this isn't the rental for you. I hope you can understand, I have to consider other guest who do not have dogs.
MINIMUM STAY 2 NIGHTS.

Anne was there to greet us and had put up some lovely Halloween decorations which the kids loved! The cottage was perfect and very clean - lovely views over the sea with the open fire we had such a great time and will definitely be back!
Excellent location with panoramic sea views over Newcastle Bay .Very well appointed. Anne has thought of everything. We had a great stay. Highly recommended. One observation which didn't affect our stay but might be worth mentioning in the description of the property - steep rear garden with lots of steps.

Trevor thank you taking the time to leave a lovely review. I'm so pleased you enjoyed your stay at the cottage. I'm sorry if you found that there were lots of steps. I have added a new photo and description and I think the other photos in the gallery show how the rear garden is laid out.
