Near Trouville-sur-Mer, a charming seaside resort in Normandy, you'll find plenty of interesting things to do. Here are three things not to be missed:

Visit Deauville: Deauville lies right next to Trouville-sur-Mer and is famous for its elegance and charm. You can stroll along the famous Promenade des Planches, visit the casino, attend world-renowned equestrian events, or simply enjoy the beauty of this seaside town.

Enjoy seafood: The Normandy coast is renowned for its delicious seafood. Be sure to sample local dishes such as fresh oysters, mussels and seafood platters in one of the coastal restaurants. You can enjoy these delicacies while admiring the sea view.

This place is great. I was a bit nervous that all the reviews came from a third-party partner and not VBRO, but those fears were unfounded. This place is an absolute gem for small families. It’s super close to the train station and the city is very very walkable. Air-conditioning in Europe is not American air-conditioning so don’t expect to be able to crank the thermostat down to 65 F. But as long as you have a fan to supplement, you’ll be in good shape. Check-in is a bit funny as it requires us to meet an actual person rather than just use a lockbox, however, the guy who met us, Sohaib, was very nice and responsive via text message.

This place was awesome! Great for families. A couple of small nitpicky things, some of the top shelves were a bit dusty, and air-conditioning in Europe is not air-conditioning Americans are used to, which is totally fine as long as you have a fan to help supplement air movement. Only issue here was that one of the two fans in the apartment was broken. Other than that, it was a really great set up for small families and they have a lot of really great appliances in the kitchen. They even have a moka pot, so pick up some ground coffee to brew! This place was truly a godsend that got us out of the European heat wave in June 2026
