The picturesque village of Carvoeiro, once a quiet fishing village, became artists attraction in the 1960's and is now a popular seaside resort. The charming atmosphere and character of old Carvoeiro is still very much present with couples, families and groups of holidaymakers.
Carvoeiro has five gorgeous sandy beaches. The village beach of glorious golden sand is sheltered by dramatic cliffs. Next to the beach you have a good choice of cafes and restaurants. Wonder through the pretty streets and visit a range of shops, bars, cafes and restaurants.

For fun days out; Slide and Splash water park, slides and water based activities for children and adults. Zoo marine has interesting presentations, marine animals including dolphins, sea lions, seals, birds of prey and reptiles.

Algar Seco is a wonderful rock formation, carved out by the wind and the sea and overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.
If you fancy a round there are three local golf courses Gramacho, Pinta and Vale de Milho.
