The apartment is located on the second floor of a medieval building, where you can still admire the ancient coat of arms on the entrance door of the noble family who owned it. There is no elevator, but we assure you that it will be really worth it.
Atmosphera is spread over a long and colorful corridor, with an adjoining kitchenette and everything you need to cook at home, which leads to the two double bedrooms and the living area. Both bedrooms have a full en-suite bathroom with shower.
Each space is tastefully furnished, with pieces of truly refined vintage, the bed linen in cotton and satin, hand-sewn by the owner.
The entire apartment has air conditioning and WI FI.

Wonderful place, perfect location, great beds, showers, and AC. Nightly decorated with everything you need to go out or hang out at the apartment. Perfect place for Rome adventures
The apartment was beautiful, clean, comfortable with plenty of hot water, and working AC’s. Great neighborhood with a lively buzz all around. Restaurants and coffee shops just steps away. The owner was lovely and helpful.
A wonderful apartment in the heart of the trastevere. Easy to get to all the key spots in Rome and some amazing restaurants within a 5 min walk.
A great few days - we would stay again for sure!

I am happy when my guests appreciate my efforts to make their stay in my apartment pleasant and comfortable
A lovely apartment in a lovely part of Rome. A real haven away from the hustle and bustle, but with its own charm and artfulness. Thank you Metella for a wonderful stay.

We loved our stay in Metella’s apartment. Beautiful, clean, and a fantastic location. We arrived later than expected but were still met with kindness and lots of recommendations for restaurants and shopping. Would stay there again without question.

Wonderful place in a great location. Communication was great and was ready as promised. Was warm while we were there and the A/C worked great in the bedrooms. If we ever end up back in Rome, would stay there again without a doubt.

A great property in an outstanding location. Our family of five stayed very comfortably. Very close to great restaurants and all the sites in Rome. Our host was easy to contact and any questions or needs were met very quickly . Check-in process in communication throughout was easy and straightforward. Don't look anyplace else, just book this apartment!

My home is always open for you!
In a sweltering July, the apartment was a haven. The air conditioning worked well when needed (outside afternoon temps 38C-39C/100-102F).
This quiet apartment is very well located within easy walking distance of all the major sites. Surrounded by restaurants for enjoyable evenings.
Althogether an excellent stay in Rome.
Perfect area to stay in Rome! Close to all the major sites, lots of restaurants to chose from! Warm welcome, good organized! Lots of books in the flat to read, small kitchen with everything necessary! A little loud in the evening (restaurants, glass-collecting!)
For us everything perfect!!
We had a wonderful stay. The location was right in the middle of restaurants and shops and a short walk over the bridge in central Rome. The home was very comfortable. We got our exercise walking up and down the three flights of stairs but that is ok. The kitchen was small but suited our needs. The host’s daughter checked us in and was a delight. We would totally stay here again!
This apartment is artsy, and elegantly decorated. It was perfect for our family of four with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The apartment was fully equipped with everything including snacks and coffee tea and cooking supplies. Metella was a lovely hostess. She greeted us and walked us through the apartment. We would definitely stay here again. The location is perfect as well.

My home is always open for you!
Cute, clean, well-stocked apartment in great neighborhood and location. Walking distance to almost everything. Easy check-in and great communication. The living area is cozy, especially if you have a fifth person sleeping there, but we didn't spend much time in the apartment so wasn't an issue. Metella is a great host.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Trastavere. Trastavere is conveniently located to all of the most popular sights, but is a great neighborhood with great restaurants on its own. Great for walking at night. The unit itself is very quiet. The air conditioning throughout the apartment is A+, even by American standards! Great communication with host and personal attention at check in. Thank you for a great stay!

Thank you for your review. I 'm happy you enjoyed your stay in my apartment and you liked the neighborhood. It was a pleasure meet and host you. My home is always open for you!
This apartment is an excellent choice for anyone visiting the beautiful city of Rome! We were two couples so having the two bedrooms with full ensuites was perfect for us. The kitchen was fine for small breakfasts but we ate out at all the amazing restaurants in the very close proximity. The host was very accommodating and we appreciated her allowing us to enter the apartment a bit early. The second bedroom could use a new mattress but other than that, we were thrilled with our stay and hope to return again some day!

My home is always open for you!
The location is great- close to good restaurants and shops, easy walking distance to amazing places on both right- and left-bank sides of the river. It's also tucked away from the crowds of busier parts of Trastevere. Metella and Adua were helpful and molto simpatiche hosts. When windows are closed, it is very quiet. Not recommended for those who don't care for a hike up stairs or who want to do serious cooking, but it was perfect for us, all retirees, and I recommend it wholeheartedly.

Fantastic find in vibrant neighborhood
Metella's apartment is very thoughtfully laid out and accomodated two couples very graciously. With two ensuites, we had plenty of privacy and the common room was both comfortable and inviting. It is very well appointed making excellent use of all available space. The attention to detail was outstanding and we lacked for nothing. Metella greeted us upon our arrival and was able to provide us with all the information we needed to enjoy our stay. The bed was comfortable and the linens high quality. We would definitely seek this place out if we ever find ourselves in Rome again.

I'm very happy to read your wonderful review on my apartment in Trastevere!! I'm very glad that your stay in my beautiful apartment was fantastic and thank you for all the compliments on my house!! Finally I'm delighted that you have spent a wonderful days in my apartment and the guests satisfaction is the most important thing for me!! Thank you again!!
This is a fabulous apartment set in the centre of Trastevere. 3rd floor beautiful flat with A/C. Very comfortable with loads of extras. Little snacks provided, fridge with drinks, washing machine for using. 2 great sized bedrooms both en-suite. A sitting area and very small kitchen, but well equipped. Although in the middle of Trastevere it was very quiet. Metella and her daughter Adua were fantastic hosts, answering our messsges and happy to give recommendations of restaurants, taxis, directions, etc. If we return to Rome we would definitely stay here again. All main attractions/sites were within walkable distance for us.

Excellent location, well appointed apartment with everything as promised. Notes for my fellow US folks. 1. Apt is a 4th floor walk-up ("2nd floor" here is above Ground, Mezzanine, 1st, then 2nd). Beware if you have a lot of luggage or cranky hips/knees. 2. Bring ear plugs and eye masks for sleep if you are noise and light sensitive (see others' mention of morning bottle collection and weekend merriment from restaurants downstairs - nothing crazy but know thyself). 3. The 6 per person per night tourist tax if you book via VRBO only payable in cash at check-in was a late breaking surprise (they tell you 48 hrs before check-in) - so make sure you have a good amount of cash on you to cover the # of people and nights for your stay. It adds up faster than you think! 4. True to the listing, the washer is ONLY a washer, not the typical washer/dryer combo common in Europe - do not wash clothes within 2-3 days of departure or risk packing damp clothes. 5. Be careful leaving the building, cars zoom down the street (we'd call it an alley) right in front of the front door and there's not much clearance if a car is coming at you! Stand on the step and look right before blindly stepping out!Overall, amazing location, kind folks, great stay. Highly recommend.
The property manager was friendly, responsive, and met us quickly when we arrived.
Pros: location, firm, but comfortable beds, and excellent air conditioning (it was 38 celcius/100 degrees) during our stay).
Cons: 5 flights of stairs, bathrooms could be cleaner, and the towels were dingy.
Overall for the price, it is a good place to stay away from the busy tourist areas of Rome, but you have to be able to carry your suitcases up and down the stairs.
Great restaurants nearby, all walkable. It was a 20 minute walk to The Pantheon and 20-25 minutes to The Colosseum.
The artwork was not to our overall liking, but this is a personal opinion. The entry table shown in photos when we arrived had dozens of books about Rome and it's attractions which was helpful.
