Suites at The Franklin are proudly situated within one of St. John's finest heritage buildings and the former home of Parker & Monroe Ltd, an iconic shoe store that served St. John's as early as 1880.

Guests enjoy being located on Water Street, within the Financial District and at the very heart of the best shopping, restaurants and entertainment Downtown St. John's has to offer.

Suites are self contained, spacious and comfortable, decor is neutral, with high ceilings and tall windows.

WiFi is complimentary.

Bed was comfortable. Not much for ambience. Could use some decor and better window coverings. Quite stuffy in the room. Location was amazing though.

The room was in a good location but parking was very expensive. And having a ruko tv was was frustrating if you don’t have all the apps.

Our stay was great, 6 days total. A few hiccups but nothing the host could not fix for us. Our toilet clogged, older building I think, but was rectified quickly. We needed to ask for new towels and garbage to be picked up half way through, which again wasn't an issue. Host is fairly fast to respond and have the items ready for you outside your door. One thing I noted was that the room smelled like maybe there has been a smoker in it. Otherwise it was clean and bright and no different from staying at a hotel in the room. It's quieter and cheaper and helped us stay on budget on our trip. Would definitely stay again.
