Ideal for families and large groups, the spacious 4/5 bedroom (One bunk bed room is interconnected with the main bedroom) detached self catering holiday cottage is set in the beautiful countryside of Dumfries and Galloway, and sleeps up to 8 adults and 2 children in perfect luxury.
Inchlonaig House provides the perfect location for a relaxing self catering holiday in one of the most peaceful and tranquil areas in Scotland or an excellent base from which to explore South West Scotland.

Wonderful home from home in Port William. Inchlonaig house had everything we needed for our stay, the property is immaculate and all of the bedrooms were so comfy - we all had a great nights sleep. We stayed as a family group looking for a relaxing weekend to celebrate a big birthday. Port William is a lovely wee town, there isn't much there but it does have a cafe/bar and a spar shop for the essentials. The house has beach access right across the road, which was perfect for walking our two dogs and for watching a beautiful sunset.We also had Sunday lunch at the local golf club, which I would highly recommend- it was very good! Sarah was a brilliant host, very friendly and helpful. Her welcome gift of wine and shortbread was so thoughtful and much appreciated. Thank you Sarah, for a lovely weekend at Inchlonaig House.

Lovely week at Inchlonaig House

Inchlonaig House proved a great base for a week in Galloway. Spacious and comfortable, the house was well equipped and in a good position with views of the sea. Sarah’s pre-arrival instructions were comprehensive and helpful and we didn’t need to contact her during our stay. Sunny weather for most of the week made for a most enjoyable holiday!

Another Fabulous Stay!

This was our second time staying at Inchlonaig House. We are a 3 generational family party and we enjoyed everything about our stay. Inchlonaig is a very clean, comfortable, spacious, warm and well equipped house. We would thoroughly recommend staying here and using it as a base to explore Galloway. Outstanding

We stayed here for a long weekend with our whole family (7 adults 3 kids) and we couldn't believe how lucky we were to be staying in such a beautiful house in an equally beautiful location. Sarah was absolutely amazing and so helpful, the book with all the house and local information was brilliant. I would (and already have!) recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a place for the family to gather, right on the beach, perfection. Thank you for having us! We will absolutely be booking in again.

We had the best May bank holiday weekend at Inchlonaig house. Brilliant location, easy access to the fabulous beach across the road. Scottish retreat

Yet again an excellent family holiday, despite the gales. The house is large enough to accommodate the whole family comfortably. A lovely quiet location but within easy reach of activities for both children and adults. This was our third stay we hope to return. Many thanks Sarah.

Highly Recommended

Large modern property with four good sized bedrooms. This property has everything you could possibly need and was spotless. The surrounding area has numerous beautiful beaches. The host was extremely accommodating and thoughtfull. Second stay here and we will be back. Dog is depressed now that home!!

Another lovely stay at Inchlonaig House

This was our 4th stay at Inchlonaig House, the first being 10 years ago. The house is very well located for family that we have in the area and equally well positioned for visits to the Galloway Park and the Mull of Galloway. The house is spacious, clean and very comfortable and Sarah is a very helpful and responsive host. Highly recommended if you are looking to stay in this beautiful part of Scotland.

Third Easter in a row at Inchlonaig House

Our group of 6 adults, 2 children and 3 dogs all had another fantastic Easter week at Inchlonaig House. This is our third visit to the house at Easter and yet again we weren't disappointed. The weather was kind to us yet again so we managed to get out for walks on the beach and further afield during our stay. The house itself was as clean, comfortable, spacious and welcoming as usual and has also had some cosmetic updates to enhance our stay. I had good communication with Sarah the owner as usual and we're already considering plans for 2025! Thanks Sarah.

Luxurious family stay

We stayed at Inchloig house in March 2023. The house is beautiful and very much a home from home. The house includes everything a family could possibly need including toys for all ages of child. The house is very large and well equipped. The weather was unfortunately very cold and windy but the house was so warm and comfortable it was a joy to stay in a shield from the weather. There is a beach across the road from the house and the balcony off the master bedroom gives an excellent view of the beautiful sunset. Communication with the owner was first class and nothing was too much trouble. We will be back!!

Perfect

We have just spent a week at Inchlonaig and can honestly say it is the best house we have stayed in. Everything was perfect. Sarah has thought of everything. You do have to travel to get to places to eat, however there is a Spar in Port William which provides the essentials. We absolutely loved every minute of our trip.

Much needed break!

We had a lovely, relaxing break at Inchlonaig. It’s a beautiful house in a quiet and relaxing location and fully equipped with all you need. A great base to explore Galloway. We had some lovely weather and the location of the house so near to the sea was just lovely. We would definitely stay here again should we visit this area in the future!

Fantastic house! Beautifully decorated for Christmas

Myself and my family stayed in this beautiful house over New Year and we all had a fantastic time. The house was beautifully decorated and felt so homely, even though it’s a big house it was still so cozy. The view was amazing and it’s so peaceful, we will definitely be back. The bottle of champagne and tin of biscuits left for us was a lovely touch and we certainly enjoyed both. We would recommend this house to anyone with no doubt they would have a wonderful time. We will be looking to book again soon and can’t wait to be back!

We found everything we needed

After several cancelled trips with family due to Covid, we needed this week. Inchlonaig House provided that space for us to reconnect. It had everything we needed practically, rooms, equipment, parking space, and showers with amazing water pressure! Sarah left flowers, biscuits wine and a real offer of being contactable with any issues. We found views of the sea, sounds of the wind and wildlife and the peace that comes with a restful place. We found everything we needed, and much more.
