A small house on two levels in a quiet residential area south of Livorno. The sea is 50 meters away, on the other side of the road, on a rocky coast; the nearest equipped beach is about 500 meters away.

Read this section before booking. Alisea is a small, well-designed house: for some travelers it's perfect, for others it's not. We prefer that you know exactly what you are booking.
The space. About 30 square meters on two levels. Below: kitchen with stove, refrigerator and everything you need to cook, open to a bright dining area. Above, up a ladder: the double bed in the loft. The height there is 1.65 m, so you move slightly bent down. It is not suitable for those with mobility problems or for those who do not feel like taking a ladder at night.
Only two guests. There's no sofa bed or space for a third person or a crib.
No outside space. There is no balcony, terrace or garden. The laundry dries at home on the supplied drying rack: it's good for a few clothes, less for a long stay with a full washing machine.
Essential by choice. In the kitchen you will find pots, pans and utensils, but this is a home for autonomy, not a hotel: condiments and consumables are not included. The full list can be found in the section below, so there are no surprises.
The context. A quiet residential street with free parking right in front, which is rare in Livorno even in August. The sea is 50 meters away on a rocky coast, ideal for bathing from the rocks; the nearest equipped beach is about 500 meters away. It's an inhabited neighborhood, so you can hear the normal sounds of surrounding houses, sometimes early in the morning.
What our guests always appreciate: the cleanliness, the design, the location and the parking. What matters least to them: space, because they are not looking for it. If there are two of you and you want a nice and compact base by the sea, this house is for you.
Independent check-in with keypad, from 16:00 to 20:00. You don't have to meet anyone: type in the code and enter. You receive it at the end of the online registration, together with the photos of the street, the door and the keypad.
Complete your online registration before you go. Italian law requires us to register all guests before entering and the contract is signed with an OTP code. We send the link several days in advance and it takes a few minutes, but it's the step that unlocks the access code. If something is not clear to you, write to us first: we will guide you step by step, in your language.
We cannot keep our luggage: we are a small house and not a guarded warehouse, and access starts at the agreed check-in time. In Livorno, you will find luggage storage facilities that can be booked online.
Parking is free on the street right in front of the house and there is usually space even in high season.
During your stay, write to us in the Airbnb chat. We respond every day from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and we'd really rather hear about an issue while you're here, than read about it later. If something is missing or not working, say so: almost everything is solved in a few hours.

So that nothing comes as a surprise, here's exactly what's in the house and what's not.
What you will find: ready-made bed linen and towels, toilet paper for the first few days, a dose of dishwashing detergent, pots, pans and all the cooking utensils, a drying rack, hair dryer, air conditioning and wifi.
What we don't provide: food and condiments (salt, oil, pepper, spices, coffee) and consumables such as hand soap, washing machine detergent, tea towels, garbage bags and paper towels. We ask you to buy them for your stay: there are shops just a few minutes away and we would be happy to show you the nearest one.
No outdoor space: the laundry dries at home on the drying rack, never on the radiators.
Did you forget something? We keep the items found after check-out for 7 days. Write to us and we will arrange for the collection or shipment at your expense.
We are not a hotel and there is no daily cleaning: the house is yours for the duration of your stay.
