Love Pawleys

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay at Mcinnes although we were not used to to being so close to the busy South End. The house layout was good for our family. We loved all the really neat “beachy” decorations throughout the whole house!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location with short walk to beach. House accommodated our family of 9 quite well. Kitchen cooking utensils and dishes were more than adequate. Have some suggestions for owner or manager: fix the top rack of the dishwasher, more thorough cleaniing (we did not get in house until after 4 due to cleaning), more dish towels and sponge in kitchen, awkward, almost dangerous, backdoor and screen door conjunction, additional night tables in BR.

The home is beautifully decorated and very spacious. Great views of the ocean and canal. Lots of parking, short walk to the dock for fishing. We had so much fun kayaking on the canal. The beach and ocean views were amazing. Perfect in every way! 10/10 recommend!

Upon arrival, the freezer/refrigerator still had food in it from the last renters. The carpets were not vacuumed. There were scattered fingernail clippings all over the floor & carpet which my grandchildren were playing.. The beds were outdated and squeaky & sunk to the bottom…the dining room table was disgusting to say the least, sticky & smelly…. we could not get that stickiness out of the table…. the living room furniture was completely filthy and stained with some kind of black filth… If you’re gonna have somebody come in and clean it make sure they clean it…We did pay a hefty price to stay someone else’s filth…. we will not be returning. We recommend you give it a good makeover from head to toe before you rent it again… Thank you

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry the home did not meet your expectations upon arrival. When you contacted us about the cleaning, we offered to send a cleaner back to address the concerns, but you declined and explained that you simply wanted us to know for the future. We removed the unopened, unused food from the freezer, and we received no photos, written follow-up, or additional complaints during the remainder of your two-week stay. You later requested a substantial refund, which we did not provide because we had responded to the issue, offered additional cleaning that was declined, and were not given another opportunity to address any remaining concerns during your stay. While we understand that this decision may have been disappointing, a refund is not automatic when a guest declines the remedy offered and completes the full stay. The cleaner responsible for the property at that time is no longer with our company, and the home has since undergone a complete deep cleaning. August is the marathon stretch of the rental season, with homes turning over continuously—but that is context, not an excuse, and our standards still apply.The property has been well maintained and has received many excellent reviews from other guests. We take concerns seriously and act when they are brought to our attention; we just need the opportunity to do so. Thankfully, after its top-to-bottom deep clean, the house is refreshed, ready, and back to earning 5 star reviews!

Beautiful Property

Beautiful property. Would have been nice to have tv's in the bedrooms but it was also nice to not have the tv distract from the sound of the ocean waves at night.

Great Week

Our family enjoyed our week in Pawleys Island. The house was clean and arranged for great traffic flow! Only suggestion is that the washing machine needs to be a tad bit quieter!

Awesome family get away

We loved Pawley’s Island and this house was a perfect location: south end of island, very quiet, amazing sun rises and sets. Layout was perfect and kitchen well equipped. Loved all three puzzles in the closet! Only two recommendations are better mattresses and a garbage disposal in the kitchen sink.

Wonderful week

Updated clean beachfront home on south tip of Pawleys Island. Amazing view of both oceans and inlet. Home and amenities as advertised. Lenny of room for out of 6 adults and 3 kids. The management company provides chairs as part of the rental deal. Only issue is that the beds need to have better mattresses or at least mattress pads for more comfort. Overall rating a 5 +.

We Love To Stay Here!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the second time we stayed here. We love the house and the location. The house was recently updated and always clean. We love that we are on the beach and also on the inlet where we can kayak. Our neighbors enjoyed the fishing, as well. When you are here, you don't ever have to leave unless it's going to the store or for a nice dinner out. Our whole family loves it!
