Villa Il Castagno is a luxury eighteenth century villa immersed in the green of the Tuscan countryside. The villa is the ideal accommodation for family and group vacation, it is located a short distance from Lucca and 35 minutes drive from Florence and thanks to its strategic position it is a perfect starting point to visit the main sites of Tuscany such as: Pisa, Florence, Montecatini Terme, Viareggio, Versilia, Forte dei Marmi, Garfagnana. Moreover it is near 6 (18 hole) golf courses and a famous SPA resort, several vineyards and typical taverns.

===== ACCOMMODATION DESCRIPTION =====
Villa Il Castagno consists of 7 bedrooms (4 double rooms with king size bed, 1 twin bedded room, 1 triple and 1 single). Each room has en suite bathroom with Jacuzzi. The villa features a blend of antique style with elegant furniture, paintings and carpets and all kind of modern comforts (Wi-Fi, air-conditioning. LCD TV, etc.).

In detail on the ground floor you find: a dining room for 8 people; a lounge room with fireplace, 2 divans, 1 double sofa bed and card table with 4 chairs; the main kitchen with table for 8, fireplace and pizza oven plus a further well equipped kitchen for 6, another lounge room with two divans; a dining room with 16 seats; a TV room with divan bed for two, armchair etc.; a billiard room; two bathrooms with Jacuzzi shower and a laundry.
On the second floor that you can reach through a two staircases, there are 6 bedrooms, (4 double, 1 triple and 1 single room). Four of these rooms with en suite (1 of them with Jacuzzi bath and shower, three with Jacuzzi shower). The triple and the single room share one bathroom with Jacuzzi shower.
Above the large dining room and reached by a staircase of 9 stairs, there is a bedroom with 2 single beds, while the bathroom is downstairs. Each room has its own heating and air conditioning units.

Outside the villa is surrounded by a 3,000 square meters garden where on the lower level, there is the swimming pool with hydro-massage. On the upper level a barbecue and a pergola for outdoor eating.
The pool is 6x12 meters large and 1.35 meters deep, it is situated on a natural terrace a few meters below the villa level and has a wide view of the valley.
It is an overflow pool and is equipped with hydro-massage, swim jets system for water treadmill and changing room with shower and WC.
The pool is open from mid April to mid October (under normal climatic conditions).
There is a sunbathing area with umbrellas, chairs, tables and divans. Further down to the right of the pool there is a relax area with a gazebo and chairs. There is also a small children's corner.
Under the pool deck there is a changing room, a shower and a bathroom.

The villa has an exclusive perimeter and house alarm, which is connected to the police via radio and telephone.
Finally the owners live in a villa whose grounds are next to those of Villa Il Castagno, but with separate entrances and parking areas and dividing fences hedges. There is the usefulness of being "neighbors" for any information or necessity but with the guarantee of maximum privacy.

Guests will be welcomed by:
Light dinner on the arrival evening with home-made sauce, pasta, parmesan cheese, bread and salad, Chianti wine and water (6 bottles of 1,5 lt)
Continental breakfast for the next morning: toast, croissants, marmalade, butter, honey, cereals, fruit juice, coffee, tea, milk and sugar.

The guests are kindly required to take with them copies of their passports.

Security deposit:
€ 800 to be paid in cash upon arrival. It will be returned upon departure less any damage or unpaid fees.

Tourist tax Euro 1.50 per person per night for first 7 nights children under 12 are exempted
