Wonderful Reception Staff

Easy access to restaurants, stores and shopping. I would like to suggest that the cleaning crew do a better job. The TV entertainment center was very dusty and the patio was not inviting. However, l would recommend the condo. It’s the perfect location.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Aqua was beautiful. Lovely beaches. Great walking distance to Pier Park. Kids loved the pools and easy access to beach. Loved the view from our unit. Loved the kitchen and master bedroom and bathroom. I'm a clean freak so carpeting made me uncomfortable and kids bunks were not comfortable and pull out bed was worse. Overall the condo unit was okay but the aqua resort was great. Would stay again but probably try a different unit

The condo has a great view but is in need of reburbushing

Reviewer Comments: The carpet is very dirty and after it was soaked through last year is in need of replacement. Water stains from last year are still visible on the ceiling. The mattress was not very comfortable.

Aqua was my favorite! The elevators are quick & they were needed to get to the 17th floor! Aqua is definitely a new favorite for us! I would just recommend u bring a iron if u might need 1. The iron in the condo didn’t work. Everything else was perfect!

Not good...

Reviewer Comments: The week stay was horrible, Elevators broke daily, had to take the stairs with a new born was not fun, getting stuck on elevator was scary to. Also had power issues through out week. Definitely won’t recommend this place.

Great outdoor views

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The kitchen is in great condition, carpet throughout was old, crunchy and needs to be replaced. There was a fake leather chair in living room that was all peeled off and it was sunken in by 7 inches making impossible to sit in. The ottoman was in same condition. The patio furniture was missing. They did replace that once we told them. The bedrooms were nicely appointed. The master bath needs additional lighting as it's a very nice, large size but it's pretty dark inside.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love Aqua Resort! The staff, front desk, maintenance are all very professional, kind, and helpful. They went out of their way to help us out with the condo that was not in very good condition. The unit needs to be updated! The carpet was old, badly stained and dirty. The kitchen light covering was broken and sticking out, the furniture was dirty, the kitchen faucet leaked badly, the chairs on the balcony had legs that were so rusted out, the chairs didn’t sit level, the balcony table legs are the same. The day after we alerted the staff to all this, they had the carpets cleaned, balcony chairs replaced, a new faucet. On a good note-the bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. The weather was perfect, excellent location, best staff around. We were just disappointed in the cleanliness of the unit and lack of updating.

Only complaint is 2 of 4 elevators were broken on Saturday when it was time for check out. We waited outside for an available elevator from 8:45 till 11am. Taking stairs from the 17th floor w/ a cart full of our luggage was not an option! Really put a damper on our last day & delayed our travel time home. I did notice a lot of reviews noting this was a common occurrence. In the future i would suggest upper floors get a discount due to unreliable elevators. Or only stay on lower levels & use the stairs!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was large, nice and comfortable for a family of 5. It was extremely clean, but needs updating. Stains on carpet and furniture and needs painting. The elevators were broken and we waited such a long time being on the 17th floor, at times up to 30-40 min, it was miserable. We stayed at this property in March of 2021 as well and elevators were also broken, we were assured they were fixed, but clearly this building has maintenance issues. I would recommend if anyone does book here that they stay on a low floor and don’t mind taking the stairs.

Front door needed painted. Walls needed painted. Needs new carpet and new furniture. Unit has been neglected for a while. Waiting for an elevator is a standing joke around the place. We waited for over an hour the day we checked in. Most days you wait 10-20 min.

This year was a different experience both good and not so good. The resort is still very clean and staff are very helpful and nice. But the resort itself has seemed to migrate from a family friendly condo to more of a party atmosphere. As far as our room specificallyit was well maintained and clean but the mattress in the master bedroom was shaped like a bowl. Made for some difficult nights of sleeping.

The Pictures Make This Room Look Nicer Than It Is...

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The room location was nice but you could tell the owners did not care for the property. The bedroom TV did not work, the TV remotes did not have backs or batteries, the furnishings were outdated and dirty. The spare shower drain did not work well so the bathtub would fill up with water. They did the bare minimum for everything and not an ounce more. My sister stayed one floor below and their room was night and day compared to ours. The pictures make this room look way nicer than it really is. The elevators were such a pain as well since only one or two were working - we constantly had to wait in a long line to get on the elevator. Good things: the view from the balcony was great & you couldn't hear any neighbors.

Great room. Just some minor issues

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The flooring in the room was nasty and dirty. Definitely needs to be replaced or deep cleaned really well. We had to sweep as soon as we got into our room. The oven/broiler did not work and that was a pain considering we bought food to cook. We also found a bunch of dirty tooth picks through out the room so I assume they weren't deep cleaned like we were told. Definitely wasn't what we expected for our honeymoom, but it was the next best thing since we had to cancel our original trip due to covid. I would definitely come back to the resort. Just use a different room. The paint on the door was basically melted off too.
