WELCOME TO MAZOT HIRONDELLE!
A haven for lovers of the outdoors. Acquired October 2016. An original foresters hut, built in 1840. Moved from its original location and made into a ski chalet 36 years ago. Lovingly restored and extended on two sides in 2019, retaining many of its original features. Visitors appreciate the scenic mountain views, the convenient location, and the well equipped chalet; making it a highly rated choice for a memorable stay.

The chalet provides easy access to skiing, hiking, and cycling. Free on-site private parking is available, along with bicycle and ski storage.

ACCESS TO PISTES:
Nearest station - 1.8km (4 minutes’ drive) to Station Zore where there are free parking, bars, and restaurants. OPENS AT 0900.
Ferme de Serrasaix gives you the earliest access at 0845 (8minutes drive)
6km from Pleney and Super Morzine lifts (10 min drive).
10-minute drive to Avoriaz.

MORZINE IS A BEAUTIFUL FRENCH TOWN at the foothills of the Porte Du Soleil ski area. There is a local ski area - Morzine/Les Gets which is accessible from the Pleney lift and the full Portes Du Soleil ski area comprising of 650km of pistes over eleven villages and two countries. Avoriaz, which is the gateway into Switzerland and the rest of the Porte du Soleil area, has great skiing for all levels.

IN THE SUMMER AND AUTUMN, the domaine becomes a playground for mountain biking, road cycling paragliding, climbing, hiking, horse riding and mountain running enthusiasts. There are also lots of watersports activities, indoor and outdoor pools. The Tour de France passes through regularly and the village hosts a good number of festivals, including the Harley Davidson festival.

The space
Ground floor - cosy lounge with wood burning stove leading onto the balcony which has wonderful mountain views. Fully equipped kitchen. The shower room and WC are located on this level.

Upper floor - double bedroom, with day bed which can create 2 extra single beds. Twin room across the hallway, with a trundle bed that can also be a double. In between, a bathroom with large sink and WC.
