Just the comfort and rest I needed

Working on daughters home renovation and needed a good nights slerp. Angela accomodated me and I endrd up staying an extra night . I awoke refreshed! !a!amamazing hot shower

Our Stay....

We enjoyed our one week at the rental. The sheep were fun to watch. There is a sidewalk across from the cottage.Walking is one of my exercises so that worked out ok. We will come back again.

Small and cozy for 2 people, very clean. Bed really comfortable. Loved the feel of being a little bit in the country but yet the location is great! Seeing the sheep everyday was a bonus.

A precious gem!

We had a wonderful stay at Angela’s cottage. She provided us with everything we could need. Including places to see and eat. Waking up to the sounds of a working farm was so cool. There were sheep, pigs, chickens, dogs and cats. Very central location for both tourists and families of students at the university. I very highly recommend staying here. We will be back.

Memorable stay

Great little hideaway walking distance to grocery store and 2 coffee shops!

We had the best stay! Our host was gracious enough to let us check in a bit early. We loved seeing the animals from our windows and had a great time walking down the street for groceries, coffee, and even a little cafe. We had everything we needed for our stay and would definitely recommend this property to anyone :)

Peaceful, perfect location

It was a comfortable cozy cottage ! With fluffy towels and a comfortable bed! Had everything we needed including a washer and dryer! A very good location, close to airport and all the things we wanted to do!!

Great place for 1-2 people visiting Arcata!

We were in Arcata to visit out son and his family. We adore staying at this "little home away from home" and will return often. It has everything we need and is spotless.

It was a wonderful little cottage, very cozy. The ranch setting was nice, and the sheep were fun to see. All the amenities were perfect. It was a little difficult to find at night in the dark but still manageable. We'll definitely stay there again!

Amazing Cottage!

We had a fantastic stay at this cottage. It was so peaceful and cozy. Loved hearing the sheep. Everything we needed was available, with the bonus of fresh pears awaiting our arrival! Everything was clean and the fireplace was just one more cozy luxury!!

Comfortable, cute and cozy stay with the sheep!

This property was exactly as advertised. It was a small, out of the way place in a quiet rural location, and yet it was a great base for visiting Arcata, Eureka and the surrounding area. The bed was very comfortable and the cottage was equipped with just about everything that anyone could need, including a washer and dryer in the shed next door. It was nice to look out at the sheep and chickens!

Home away from Home

A very lovely cottage. Private, quiet, clean, neat,and well equipped. Had everything we needed and then some. Had a porch to sit and enjoy the peacefulness with a cup of coffee. The friendly sheep were an added bonus! Would definitely stay here again!

Owners - Mike and Jinnie have lived on property for since 1979. Initially purchasing the property to facilitate their children's 4-H sheep project dreams. More than 44 years later they are still here, with all of those sheep! Both Humboldt County natives, Mike and Jinnie Graduated from Arcata High School in 1961 and were married in 1965.

Our cottage is unique in that it is located on a small working farm that includes sheep, chickens, dogs, cats and sometimes a pig! Inside the cottage we pride ourselves on cleanliness with attention to detail with no pet dander, hair or pollen allergens. It is important that you leave your beloved beasts at home! Please No Pets.
