About this property
E&A lookout point in the Historic Downtown of Oaxaca with views of the mountains
Our E&A lookout point is a small apartment on the third floor of an old house in the Historic Downtown of Oaxaca, offering you the opportunity to discover our entire beautiful city without a vehicle. Our privileged location will put you steps away from the Santo Domingo Church, the ethnobotanical garden, the Xochimilco arches with their traditional stone cross, as well as a large number of museums, markets, restaurants, galleries, mezcal shops, graphic workshops, libraries, cultural spaces, coffe shops, bakeries, pastry shops, and craft stores.
The true charm of the E&A lookout point is the spectacular views it offers. Located on the third level, you can witness the beautiful Oaxacan sky merge with the stunning mountains of our state's northern highlands. Once inside, you'll completely forget you're immersed in the city. Plus, we're located on one of the quietest streets in the city center, one of the most peaceful spots in the area, so you'll easily get a good night's sleep.
One of the city's most beautiful and iconic markets, the "Sánchez Pascuas," is just a few steps away. Here you can enjoy the wide variety of fresh, organic, and high-quality products on offer, so you can shop like a local. Our street is fully lit and has all emergency services nearby, from pharmacies to hospitals specializing in clinical research.
Speaking of the layout, the first room is located downstairs and is divided into an outdoor area containing the dining area and a second indoor area, where you'll find a small living room with a sofa bed. You can combine its use according to your needs: from a family gathering area to a work area, to even adapting it as another bedroom. If your reservation requires it, you can request that we install a sheet set with a "zero gravity" mattress pad for the sofa bed, which will make sleeping on it much more comfortable.
In the same space, we have a kitchenette equipped with everything you need to prepare the food you want. If you need any utensils, we can provide them, so you won't be limited in your ideas when it comes to preparing your meals during your stay.
The bedroom is located on the second level, which has limited height, as it's a loft-style with a clear height of 6ft. It's also essential to consider the steps, as if you have trouble going up or down, this space may not be for you. Here, you'll find two double beds, a dressing table that can also be used as a work desk, a Smart TV, and a vestibule that allows you to change your clothes in more privacy. There, you'll have access to two balconies that offer a virtually 360-degree view.
Finally, let me tell you about ourselves: we are a 100% Oaxacan family who have built this venture with dedication and love to welcome travelers who choose to visit us. The house has been in our family for three generations, which is why we call it "Esther and Adolfo home" since they were our grandparents and the first owners. It's a small recognition of their efforts. Our intention is also to share our culture, traditions, and love of Oaxaca with you, and to let you know that, if you wish, you'll have local friends who will help you in any way they can.
We look forward to meeting you soon at our lookout point!
