A place for memories!

We stayed here for a second time. It is a very pleasant home-away-from home place to stay. We were able to enjoy many activities in Door County, including ice cream, the beach and Wild Tomato pizza in Sister Bay.

Great spot for a family vacation. The loft above the garage is great if extra room is needed. We enjoyed being close to Door County Ice Cream Factory and were able to take advantage of the shuttle from the ice cream shop to downtown Sister Bay.

Great for families!

Lovely home very close to downtown sister bay. We had a lot of young children with us and it was a perfect spot for them. They especially loved playing in the loft and in the beautiful yard.

Beautiful property

We had a mostly adult holiday but invited daughter w kids to spend one night in loft. It worked out perfectly. We had a great time sightseeing and hanging out at the house. We used the fire pit, ping pong table and bikes.

We loved this place!

Our family stayed here for our first Door County visit. It is a great location. Sister bay is a hub of activity. Jon was easy and wonderful to work with. The cottage is warm and cozy feeling with such character! Totally recommend staying there!

Great Girls Weekend Retreat

Great spot for us to celebrate turning 50! Comfortable and well equipped house. Gracious and informative hosts. Door County was just beginning its summer season, but there was plenty to do and see. I hope we get the chance to visit again and we will definitely seek to stay at KipDee Cottage.

Amazing stay!

This is a beautiful property with an amazing location in Sister Bay. 3 minute drive to the downtown area. We loved the decor, sitting on the porch and in the sunroom with morning coffee, and getting ice cream down the street. The owners were very easy to communicate with and the check in process was very easy. I would definitely stay here again.

Our New Home Away From Home!!!

Murphy’s KipDee home and gardens were delightful and welcoming. We found it to be very clean and beautifully decorated. The beds in the house are very comfortable. We didn’t use the clever bunkhouse annex. We enjoyed reading about the earlier owners. If you stay here, you will not be disappointed! We hope to return !

Fantastic house and location!

This is such a charming, cozy cottage. We were very pleased with all of the amenities, charm, and location. It was lovely to see the photos on the wall and read stories about the former owners. We live around the corner and needed more space for our extended family. The KipDee was perfect! Beautiful yard and adorable, clean cottage and sleeping loft above the garage! KipDee Cottage-Sister Bay, WI

Fantastic property super close to beach, downtown Sister Bay and other communities on the Bay. We didn't utilize the loft above the garage but it would be fantastic for a second family or younger members of a group to have privacy. Hosts were prompt, courteous, informative and allowed us to check in earlier in the day. Bonus for our stay. We would definitely like to stay again.

Girls wine weekend trip

My wife Lucy and are educators in Northeastern Wisconsin. I have been a teacher and boys varsity basketball coach in Seymour Wisconsin for the past 32 years. Lucy is a school social worker in the Green Bay School system. We have a few years to teach and one day plan to move to this beautiful Sister Bay location. Waters End Road is the perfect location. Just a block away from the Bay from our driveway and 4 miles from Lake Michigan if you head East on Waters End road. Take a stroll next door for a homemade waffle cone at the Door County Ice Cream Factory or continue down the block to watch the sunsets over the Bay. Relax and enjoy the beauty and peace of Door County from the covered farmhouse porch.
