Sleeping up to eight guests across four bedrooms, Lochindaal is a beautifully spacious self-catering home — perfect for family holidays, group getaways, or relaxing breaks exploring the Kintyre coast.
The heart of the house is the fully equipped kitchen, complete with dishwasher, coffee machine, hob, oven, grill, microwave, toaster and kettle — everything you need for relaxed meals together. A separate utility room provides a fridge/freezer and washer/dryer for added convenience.
The comfortable living room features a large corner sofa and Smart TV with SkyQ, making it the perfect place to unwind after a day exploring. Fast WiFi is available throughout the property, ideal for streaming, planning the next day's adventures, or keeping everyone entertained on a rainy afternoon.
Double doors open from the living room onto the beautifully landscaped enclosed garden, where you'll find several seating areas and a patio with BBQ — perfect for outdoor dining and enjoying long summer evenings.
The ground floor offers two bedrooms:* a king-size room with en-suite shower room* a twin room
There is also a separate WC on this level.
Upstairs are two further spacious bedrooms (one king-size and one twin), along with the family bathroom featuring both a bath and separate shower. All bedrooms include large built-in wardrobes, providing plenty of storage for longer stays.
Lochindaal is very family-friendly, with a travel cot, highchair, Next2Me cot (suitable for newborn-6 months), and changing mat provided. There is also a great selection of toys, books, games and DVDs, as well as children's crockery in the kitchen. Please note that children of all ages must be included in the total guest count (maximum occupancy: 8).
The property is pet-free, making it a great choice for guests with allergies.
Lochindaal may also suit guests with limited mobility. There is level access from the driveway into the property, and all essential facilities are located on the ground floor, including the kitchen, dining area, living room, utility room, WC, king-size bedroom with en-suite shower, and twin bedroom. While the patio doors have steps, the garden can also be accessed via a side gate from the driveway without steps.

Lochindaal sits in a quiet cul-de-sac on the edge of the tiny village of Whitehouse. It is the perfect place to come back to unwind after a day out exploring the local area (and further afield!). We are only a mile from the Islay ferry terminal, making it perfect for those wanting to do participate in some of the whisky tours offered on the island (there is a bus stop in Whitehouse, and the bus also stops at the ferry terminal).
The house itself has a relaxed and spacious feel - ideal for multi-generational families. There is plenty to occupy the kids, and the adults will enjoy the outdoor space. The lawn is astro turf, so kids can play without worrying about getting muddy - the garden is also enclosed.
Fishing is available on the nearby West Loch - we would usually expect to catch mackerel. The same is available on Loch Fyne - there are also boats doing trips from Tarbert here. The Waverley also stops at Tarbert on her visits to the area.
There is a fold-up desk in the upstairs bedroom cupboard for those looking for a workspace - the WiFi is suitable for Teams calls etc.
