This Great Manor House once formed the Central estate of the great Hawkes Farm that was mentioned in the Doomsday Book of 1066. Cinema Room, Games Room, Hot Tub, Pool Table there is great times to be had for the whole family. On a protected lane of outstanding beauty set within the grounds of ye old territory of Spains Hall, now owned by Jamie Oliver (yes he'll be your neighbour) is this exclusive detached home with secluded gardens and far reaching country views that will take your breath away.
This is a place of peace rather than party. Please respect our quiet hours of 10pm to 7am. This means no garden noise as sound travels. If all windows are doors are closed, then normal sound levels inside the house are fine and will not disturb our neighbours.
PRIVATE, DETACHED & SECLUDED, have your very own little forest setting all to yourself. You will not find a more private, peaceful, or relaxing setting than this, whilst still being within walking distance to a 5 star Italian restaurant and less than an hour from London and 30 minutes from Cambridge. With treasured public footpaths and country walks galore, right on your doorstep, this is the perfect house for a family break, an easy few days away from the city or a get together for friends and loved ones. Wifi and fully loaded Sky TV with Sky Movies, Sky Kids, Sky Sports and a 75" cinema screen.
This is a quiet Hamlet that consists of just four properties. To assist in preserving the calmness, we kindly request that you check in between 3pm and 6pm. You can self check in using a code.
The Famous Essex Highwayman: - 0.5 acres of secluded gardens. Country walks. Public footpaths. The famous walk way used regularly by the infamous Dick Turpin and still sign posted to this day, leading you directly to lavishly preserved Blue Bell Inn once used as a hideout by Dick himself and today standing strong as a cherished local pub and exemplary restaurant
The Sampfords are widely known as Essex best kept secret. You are surrounded by nature, beauty and quite a few famous neighbours. This is not a party town and although your neighbours are only few and not very close by, this is a place of rest and relaxation. Peace and not party. Please come and enjoy.
After booking you will have the option to choose further, non compulsory, creature comforts to further enhance your stay, that may come at a small cost such as pre heating the hot tub for you, additional coffee beans, food supplies, extra toilet rolls, ect.
