Fantastic accommodations!

This property is as advertised. The location is perfect for a family
enough room for everyone and the sliding glass walls make a perfect indoor/outdoor living space. Our favourite morning ritual was sitting on the patio with a cup of coffee, looking for wildlife. We saw scarlet macaws, green parakeets, toucans, white-faced capuchins and more. The beds were comfy and the kitchen was well-equipped. We’ll definitely be back

Beautiful home. We loved our stay here. The warnings about the 4 wheel drive are appreciated as it’s an adventure getting up and down the hill every day, but the views are worth the drive! Would live to come back with family sometime as it’s a great place for 3 couples. Hot water was not working when we arrived but they sent someone out the next day.

Fabulous home with ocean and jungle views.

Beautiful home with patio for a gorgeous ocean/sunset view and another well-furnished and comfortable patio with a jungle view. Open-air with great breezes to keep a very comfortable temperature. Well-appointed and clean. Beautiful landscaping. The outdoor tub was heavenly. Nice pool, as well.

Wonderful Costa Rica Stay

We had a wonderful 9 day stay in this beautiful Costa Rica home. The house was just as beautiful as the photos! Communication with the management company was top notch. The home was comfortable with everything we needed for a very enjoyable stay. We spent much of the time that we were home on the 4 deck rocking chairs and just listened to the sounds of the jungle. We had four adults and two teenagers and we all enjoyed the home and the pool. Plenty of bird watching and even Howler Monkeys visited on our last evening. I miss it already and will definitely be back!!

The most incredible house we've stayed in

We spent 3 weeks in Costa Rica staying in multiple locations and houses. This house is not just the most amazing we've stayed in the country, but also overall with Vrbo. Hidden in the Uvita mountains, going to the house itself is an experience (4x4 really came in handy). Absolutely beautiful house from the outside with a nice pool (though a bit on the colder side). Totally clean inside and out, very modern rooms, outside bath. All in the middle of the jungle with only a couple of lizards inside. If we ever go back to Costa Rica, we'll likely spend the whole stay here.

Excellent property in the jungle

This is a beautiful property with gorgeous views of the ocean and surrounding jungle. The house is fairly new and in great condition. Air conditioning works great for each bedroom, but is not present in the main common area. The house has accordion doors on 3 sides of the common area, which provide great indoor/outdoor flow. I do not recommend using these in the evenings or at night due to the bugs. The surrounding property is beautiful and well kept. The outdoor tub is incredible. The location is excellent, with nearby access to Uvita and several grocery stores. A 4x4 is definitely necessary to access.

Fun Jungle Getaway!

We had an amazing time in this beautiful home! We enjoyed the sunsets every night, saw many different kinds of birds including toucans, swam in the pool each day, and enjoyed the views from all around the house. Just to note there are only air conditioners in the bedrooms, which was fine for us since we spent most of the day out adventuring or in the pool. Construction mentioned in a previous review was still happening (wasn't bothersome but did begin by 6am on the weekdays). Waze originally took us on a different road coming from Uvita but if you follow directions given, you'll find it easily! The road is definitely a mountain road - we typically only went down into town once a day and brought dinner back with us so we wouldn't have to drive in the dark. Truly a magical experience staying here!

Great but be prepared to unplug!

Had a great stay here. Soooo beautiful and clean. The outside tub was a highlight for my whole group and the beds were really comfy. We saw dart frogs out back and heard howler monkeys from the porch. Had a bit of an issue with the door code and the gate code being mixed up on the email but was able to contact the property manager, they were quick to respond. We also had an issue with the power going out here and there but it’s the jungle sooooo it is what it is. On our last day and night the Wi-Fi went out as well which was frustrating but kinda of great because it forced us to unplug. My friends loved the place and would recommend. 4 wheel drive is a must! Roads are steep but still safe even in the rain.

The managing company is a complete nightmare! They gave us the wrong gate code to get into the neighborhood, we had to wait for 30 minutes at the gate before we found a way in. Our stay was for two nights, upon arrival we found we did not have internet. Property Management did absolutely nothing. Correct the issue and get us internet. We never had internet the whole time we were there after asking multiple times for help. The man I spoke with several times have no interest at all in helping us. They never sent anyone to the house, I will warn others that they should find another property. They try to manage this home from out of the country, with no representation here to help you. I would not give them any Stars but had to give them one. There are so many other nice homes for you to book in this area.

Amazing Jungle Vibes but read EVERYTHING!

Let me start off by saying that this house was AMAZING! This property would have got a 10/10 but there was a few things that made me go lower. 1. The picture directions were slightly confusing and should have some words explaining in detail depending on which direction your traveling from. 2. We were told that a crib/pack & play would be provided but it never came. 3. The internet went off for an extended period of time which was frustrating but it did give the family time to enjoy and play Jenga! It’s high in the mountains so we expected to lose connection at some point. 4. The unit was Burning hot when we arrived. We wished that someone at least turned on the fans before our arrival. Ac’s weren’t cutting on because of the breakers so we had to wait about 45 mins for the maintenance guy. This was extremely annoying especially after a 3.5 hour drive to the location. 5. The patio deck has some loose pieces so it was a bit nerve wrecking 6. The pool was dirty and didn’t get cleaned until our last day at the unit. But the beauty of the location made up for everything. LISTEN! The views of the beach, jungle, sunrise and sunset was absolutely AMAZING! If your visiting Costa Rica and you want to witness the true beauty; book this place. We took so many pictures and videos. The pictures don’t even do it justice. You must see this for yourself. Even when it poured rain, the views and sounds were everything you could imagine. This is a lovely property indeed!

Sehr schönes, luxeriöses Haus mit abenteuerlicher Anreise

Das Haus und die Außenanlagen sind sehr schön und luxeriös. Die Anreise war sehr abenteuerlich, da die Ausschilderung selbst fĂŒr Costa Rica VerhĂ€ltnisse schlecht ist und die Anfahrtsbeschreibung nicht den tatsĂ€chlichen VerhĂ€ltnissen entspricht. So ist das Schild Richtung Hotel Vista Ballena an der Hauptstraße nicht blau, was schon wichtig ist, da man im Vorbeifahren erstmal hiernach sucht. Außerdem steht mittlerweile direkt an der Einfahrt ein Schild, das direkt auf Casa Vista Verde hinweist. Dies fehlt in der Beschreibung. Im weiteren Verlauf der Auffahrt gibt es einige Abzweigungen. Dort steht allerdings kein Schild mehr zur Casa Vista Verde. Bei Ankunft gab es in mehreren Zimmern keinen Strom. Der Betreuer Kevin meldete sich nach Reklamation nicht zeitnah aber wir haben die Sicherungen gefunden und konnten uns selbst helfen. SpĂ€ter bot er als EntschĂ€digung eine zusĂ€tzliche Reinigung an, die wir allerdings bei nur 4 Übernachtungen nicht benötigt haben. Alternativ fragten wir an, ob es möglich sei, stattdessen am Abreisetag zwei Stunden lĂ€nger im Haus bleiben zu können. Auf diese Anfrage haben wir nie eine Antwort bekommen. Erst nach der Abreise kam die Frage: "How are you?". Außerdem wurde auf unsere Reklamation hinsichtlich der defekten, wirklich in alle Richtungen spritzenden Dusche im Masterbedroom gar nicht reagiert. Von der Betreuung durch eine professionelle Agentur haben wir mehr erwartet.

Amazing location

The views are spectacular. The outdoor tub was amazing. The house is awesome. So much wildlife. A few minor items to be aware of
. Not deal breakers but definitely worth noting
. 1. Half of the deck boards are rotten and covered in ants making only a portion of the decks really usable. 2. The road in to the property is a bit challenging, 4x4 is really helpful. Overall it wasn’t to bad except the night that they were grading the road and decided to just stop for the evening and leave 12+ inches of gravel/fill ungraded or packed, nearly impossible for even a 4x4 suv to get through. 3. Neighboring construction
 totally understandable that other properties can be under construction but just be aware that construction time in Costa Rica can start as early as 5:30 am and they do work on Saturdays. 4. One night the gate was broken and just stayed open, not a huge deal and they fixed it the next day.

All expectations met or exceeded - keep reading for tips

Overall this house met all of our high-set expectations. The kitchen was fantastic, the bedrooms were cozy and equipped with A/C, the living room and master bathroom were gorgeously illuminated by natural light, and the whole house was meticulously cleaned before we arrived. The courtesy concierge services by BookyBee were also a huge plus. They helped my newlywed wife and I plan an in-house massage appointment and answered our other questions about our stay - all to our satisfaction. Uvita is also a small, cozy town that has numerous stores and a couple surprisingly high quality restaurants. The only thing to keep in mind about this location is that it is a 5-minute drive up a mountain with uneven roads at points - please rent a 4x4 or AWD vehicle. Other reviews indicated that the house was difficult to find, but we had no issues with Google Maps. DON'T USE WAZE TO LOCATE THESE HOUSES WITH COORDINATES. Waze took us up steep, dangerous roads that were under construction. This house is the paradise we had hoped for, and I would bet it will be for you too.

Spectacular is an understatement

This was our second stay in this magnificent home. Whoever designed this house deserves an award... covered balconies with wooden ceilings and fans all around the perimeter, beautiful hardwood furniture throughout, rocking chairs, places to sit and dine together, quiet nooks for privacy... can't decide which seating area is our favorite! There are breathtaking views of the rainforest from every vantage point. You feel like you're in a treehouse. Open the walls of windows/doors and take in the lush foliage, flowers, and wildlife, not to mention ocean views. Animal sightings every single day. During our last stay we saw aracaris, toucans, crested guans, a poison dart frog, howler monkeys, morpho and owl butterflies (and many others), a laughing falcon, a king vulture, turkey vultures, hummingbirds, geckos, dragonflies, many other colorful insects. The house is just a short drive to some of the best beaches we've ever experienced, as well as a variety of restaurants in Uvita, the cute town of Dominical, and much more. Casa Vista Verde is a magical place.

FANTASTIC VACATION HOME

This beautiful home up in the hills overlooking the Pacific did not disappoint! The pictures on the website don't do justice to the actual beauty of the home and it's surroundings. The road is an adventure but not overly difficult. The deck that wraps around the house on all sides is amazing and we found ourselves out there most of the time, taking in the amazing scenery and also spotting the wildlife including toucan's, hawks, parakeet's, butterflies and monkeys to name a few. The deck also has overhangs so you can sit out in the rain and not get wet and enjoy your evening meal after a wonderful day exploring the area. Many beaches are close by as are many wonderful restaurants. The market in town has a great assortment of items and with the wonderfully supplied kitchen you can make great meals and enjoy them while watching the sunset. We would definitely stay here again, it was probably our favorite place we have stayed ever! I would recommend you take a good camera with a telephoto lens as our iphones fell woefully short of capturing the beauty of some of the wildlife.

We liked everything about this house. Impressively, it is even nicer than the pictures. The decks wrap around almost the entire home and you can always choose shade or sun for endless bird and wildlife watching-- and all of the chairs and couches are comfortable and actually made for sitting, not just looking good. We enjoyed the sunrise on one side and the sunset on the other. The entire house was super clean and beds are super comfortable. Air conditioning works well as do the open windows and doors. Raimund at Vacasa was very responsive to any small question or request and it felt good to have such an easy contact. The hot water in the shower does go in and out but this didn't bother us much. Kitchen works very well but I wish they had at least one decent chef knife-- we made a mess of a lot of mangoes trying to cut them with dull knives! Gorgeous place overall and we love Uvita.
