Lwowska Street is one of the elegant streets of Warsaw’s Southern City Centre (Śródmieście Południowe), designed at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries as part of the city’s modern urban development. The building itself was constructed between 1911 and 1912, based on a design by the renowned architect Edward Eber — a prominent creator of Warsaw’s Art Nouveau and modernist tenement houses.

Over the decades, the building at Lwowska 13 has witnessed the turbulent history of Warsaw — it survived both World War I and World War II, as well as the Warsaw Uprising. Despite the surrounding destruction, the tenement house preserved its original character and architectural style.
