We enjoyed our stay at this place. We had everything that we needed as if we were in our own home.
A great place to stay, if you want to be close to the South entrance of Yosemite, I plan to return again, if I have a large group. Mark and his dog Skyler made us welcome and we felt at home immediately. The property is mix of old and new, built in 1920's and renovated , the bedrooms have a rustic feel and the bathrooms are modern, all with showers. Kitchen is well stocked with cooking & serving utensils.
All bedrooms have a double bed and there are futons in the front/side patio and the lounge. So it can easily accommodate 16 or more.
It did get a bit hot in couple of the bedrooms during the hot days, but the lounge has powerful AC to keep you cool. Mark is very easy going, and his dog Skyler is very friendly!
I came with a group of 8 adults and 3 dogs and we had such a blast at the house. Mark and Lynn greeted us warmly and provided everything we needed for a fantastic stay during our weekend in Yosemite. The house is less than an hour from the south gate of the park and also very close to a beautiful lake called Bass Lake. I highly recommend staying here!
Mark and Lynne are very responsive and friendly. No problems whatsoever and we enjoyed our stay. Definitely recommended. The beds are full size, so it's something to keep in mind.

Our group of 21 (Families with kids) stayed here for 3 days / 2 nights and we absolutely love this home away from home. The place is big enough to accommodate large groups. There are 2 fully equipped kitchens that we used. The bathrooms and all four rooms are clean and nicely decorated. The place is very cozy. The views are stunning. We have everything we need for a perfect weekend getaway. It's about an hour drive to Yosemite National Park and the views from the ranch to Yosemite Park is worth the drive. Our host Mark is very kind and accommodating. We also love Skylar the friendly dog :) I have to mention that this is by far has the best rental rate we found for large rental homes. I will definitely recommend Lynmar Pond Guest Ranch in a heartbeat to any group looking for a place to stay near Yosemite or just looking for a perfect weekend getaway. We will surely be back to this place.
We loved our stay at the Lynmar Pond Guest Ranch! We were in town for the weekend for a show at Bandit Town, and chose this spot for its rustic look and its close proximity to town and the venue. We LOVED staying in the single room suite-- airy yet secluded, overlooks some AMAZING views of the mountains from the bedroom window, and perfectly furnished and equipped with everything that we needed for the weekend. Added bonus: Mark's dog Skyler is the most well-tempered dog we've ever met! He accompanied us on walks around Mark's vast property which was perfect for tons of photo ops as well as some zen, quiet time. Mark's a professional-- attentive when it's necessary and gives you space to enjoy your weekend. We learned so much about the area not only by chatting with Mark but also with literature in our suite on local businesses and history.
We couldn't have asked for a better escape for the weekend-- a break from technology and a relaxing stay taking in all of the beauty of the ranch. Thanks again Mark! We'll be back next year!
