Homestay Verstekkie is a cozy farmstyle house with a living room, kitchen, 2 bedrooms and a large bathroom. It has it's own entrance via the main garden. A part of the garden is for you to use and has a private outside seating area for you to enjoy.

It is only a 15 minute walk to the city center and is well connected to public transport to various parts of the city.

The neighbourhood is vibrant yet provides ample peace and tranquility. You are a stones throw away from shoppingcenter 'Brusselspoort' that has a variety of shops and supermarkets. Thus, can cater to all your needs.

The Homestay itself has a fully equipped kitchen, living room with smart tv and two bedrooms each with a double boxspring bed. There is also an airco for the first floor.

The bathroom has a spacious shower, washbasin and is equipped with a washingmaching and dryer.
It is able to sleep 4 adults and one baby (up to 2 yrs old).
You will have access to your own parkingspot for up to 2 cars.
There is free unlimited Wifi throughout the entire house.

Not only is Verstekkie a combination of our surnames but in Dutch 'stekkie' means to have your own place or home.

Thus, our aim is to make your stay a happy one where you feel right at home in your very own 'stekkie'

Hi! We're Lex and Jaime. Lex is a proper Maastricht local, born and bred. Jaime is originally from South-Africa and moved to Maastricht in 2007.

We enjoy travelling, and are keen food and wine lovers.

Both of us love the amazing town of Maastricht and consider South-Africa as our home away from home.

In 2017 we decided to spend some time travelling. During these travels through South-Africa, Australia, New-Zealand and Bali we met so many lovely people who showed us warm and true hospitality. With this began our own dream of having a place where we too could invite people and share our hospitality.

With our homestay we have made this dream come true and we so look forward to meeting and hosting you all!
