Les Hirondellesは、石造りの壁に囲まれた中庭に2つのテラスがあり、1つは日陰に、1つは見落とされません。それは2200平方メートルの大きさの庭があり、田舎の景色を見渡すことができます。 Les Hirondellesは2011年に完全に改装され、1階にある古い建物の新しい家の快適さを提供しています。
2つのベッドルーム、1つのダブルベッドと1つのツインベッドがあります。また、大人のベッドをご用意しています。
ベビーベッド、ベビーバス、ハイチェアもご利用いただけます。

私たちはまた隣の大きな家5号を所有しています。 'La Sablonniere' ref：1878390 2人から10人を眠ります。 家族が一緒になったり、重要な誕生日や記念日を祝うことを希望する大規模なパーティーの場合は、特に便利です。

Lovely property in a great location. Close to Saintes and the beach. The local boulangerie in Meursac was great and the kids enjoyed the local swimming pool. The house has everything you need for a family stay.

Everything was simple….finding the property, gaining entry and correspondence with the owner.The bedrooms were lovely and ours had a ceiling fan which was really useful. The kitchen was very well equipped and the bathroom was great with a large shower.I would highly recommend Les Hirondelles to any prospective holiday maker.

A gorgeous house - so completely peaceful and relaxing. Check in was easy, just collect the keys from the key box. The kitchen was well equipped and wi-fi access excellent. The garden is just wonderful and our little dog loved that it was completely enclosed and he could wander freely. The laundry room is a boost and I can't fault the cleanliness of the house at all. Les Epeaux is in the middle of nowhere (which is what we wanted) so to travel anywhere you need a car. Meursac has a nice little bar and a co-op which was handy - it is walkable but not in full sun in July! We liked Saintes, a Roman town with an Amphitheatre, an arch and baths - all a nice walk. It has nice shops, a lovely river to wander down and you can let a dog off a lead on the circular walk that starts from the pedestrian bridge. We also liked Talmont which is full of artisan shops and good places to eat and drink. Overall, we loved our stay and we would return if we decided we needed a complete break again - it was great to switch off, read, relax and drink far too much wine! :-)

Schönes Haus, sehr ruhig gelegen

Das Haus war wie beschrieben und sehr schön. Es fehlte an nichts. Lediglich die Sauberkeit ließ bei genauerem Hinsehen ein wenig zu wünschen übrig und bei Regen wurde die Luftfeuchtigkeit im Schlafzimmer sehr hoch. Alles in allem dennoch ein tolles Haus. Check-in war sehr unkompliziert.

Vacances au calme

Semaine de vacances dans un environnement calme et reposant. Place à la détente ! La maison est très bien équipée et joliment décorée. La grande terrasse et l’immense terrain permet de profiter pleinement de l’extérieur avec notre chien. La plage est à 20-25 min, facile d’accès, ainsi que de nombreuses balades. La propriétaire est facilement joignable au besoin. Je recommande vivement cette location.

Schönes Haus mit einem Aber

Wir haben die Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit des Hauses und des kleinen Ortes sehr genossen. Der komplett eingezäunte Garten ist riesig und bietet sowohl sonnige als auch auch schattige Plätze zum Verweilen - das ist natürlich auch für die Hundefreunde toll. Auf der Terrasse findet man verschiedene Sitz- und Liegemöbel, die Terrasse lässt sich abends toll beleuchten, sodass man hier viele schöne Stunden verbringen kann. vielen Dank dafür! Das Haus war soweit sauber, gut ausgestattet und wie man auf den Bildern sehen kann, geschmackvoll eingerichtet - da hat die Vermieterin viel Zeit und Energie investiert. Die Couch fanden wir zu zweit allerdings etwas zu klein, die Betten etwas zu weich, das ist aber vielleicht auch Geschmackssache. Der Check-in und Check-our sind völlig unproblematisch und sehr flexibel. Der Ort bietet sich als toller Ausgangspunkt für die Erkundung der Gironde-Mündung und auch die Ile dˋOleron liegt nicht weit weg entfernt. Obwohl wir also die Sonnenblumenfelder nur vereinzelt gesehen haben, ist die Lage des Hauses toll. Was uns jedoch gestört hat, war ein ziemlich starker muffiger Geruch im Haus, der nach viel Lüften zwar deutlich weniger wurde, aber sich bereits in den Stoffen und u.a. Küchenschränken festgesetzt hat. Das Haus hat möglicherweise ein Feuchtigkeitsproblem, denn wir haben an zwei Stellen (Decke und Wand) Schimmel entdeckt. Das ist ärgerlich, hier scheint uns eine Intervention dringend notwendig.

Great house

Great stay at this wonderful house. It is a very quiet area, all you can hear is silence and an occasional bird. The garden is very big and nice for young children as it protected by a fence. Would recommend this house.

Le dépaysement absolu

Nous avons eu plaisir à séjourner dans une maison très belle, décorée avec beaucoup de goût (ça donne des idées) et d’une propreté sans faille y compris le linge. La literie de qualité permet de se reposer parfaitement et le terrain immense et entretenu, aussi bien fleuri, permet de se détendre au calme. La proximité des commerces est appréciable.Un séjour à refaire absolument.

Lovely stay

Very well equipped house in a beautiful part of France. Easy access from the ferry and lots of lovely places to go. Our dog particularly enjoyed the large garden and the easy access to safe walks. ‘La Table’ in nearby Meursac was a great find with lovely food. Sophie was a very helpful host. We hope to return again.

Logement très agréable

Logement confortable et bien équipé. Grand jardin bien clôturé, parfait pour un chien. Balançoire non utilisable lors de notre séjour. La propriétaire répond très vite aux demandes et fait le necessaire pour que tout se passe bien.

Tolle Zeit verlebt

Das Ferienhaus ist ebenerdig, entspricht den Darstellungen im Portal und ist ausreichend groß für Mensch und Hund 🐶 Kontakt zum Vermieter war einfach und problemlos (Danke Sophie !). Ankommen, Schlüssel aus dem Safe holen und entspannt Urlaub starten. Auch das Auto findet perfekt und sicher Platz auf dem großen Grundstück Die Lage ist aus unserer Sicht perfekt .. Strände, Städte (Bordeaux, la Rochelle, Saintes usw.) sind gut zu erreichen. So gelingt eine schöne Balance von Stadtbummeln, Baden und Relaxen) Das Haus selbst ist liebevoll eingerichtet und bietet alles, was man braucht ! Toller großer Garten, den besonders unsere Hunde geliebt haben Fazit: Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub - Haus ist empfehlenswert!

Schönes Haus

Wir hatten sehr schöne zwei Wochen in diesem nett renoviertem Haus. Man kann sehr schön draußen sitzen,es ist ein riesen Garten dabei, toll für den Hund und wir hatten noch nie eine so gut ausgestattete Küche in einem Ferienhaus! Wir haben uns sehr gut dort erholt. Danke.

Delightful gite!

We really enjoyed our stay at Les Hirondelles. There is plenty of space, it is well-equipped and very nicely presented. There is loads of outdoor space, including parking, and it is very private too. Our host Sophie was very informative and responsive; thank you! Seemingly never-ending deserted country roads made for some lovely bike rides. Highly recommended.

Sejour trés agréable

Séjour très agréable dans cette maison, tout l'équipement dont on a besoin à l intérieur et un énorme terrain. L'accueil y est chaleureux. La région est très belle et le propriétaire donne des lieux à visiter. A réserver sans hésitation ;-)

We are Sophie and Richard Leech and we live in Silkstone near Barnsley where we both work full time. I am a Practice Manager for a GP Practice in Leeds and Richard is a Director of a family business together with his Mother and Brother and they are agents selling sports apparel to retailers in the North of England. Richard is also Chairman of our Parish Council and we are both involved in community projects on a voluntary basis.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

We bought this house in 2007 as it was just 20 minutes from my French grandparents house in Vaux sur Mer. We called it 'Les Hirondelles' which is french for Swallows as there are a pair of swallows who nest in the barn every summer. The house was a bit of a ruin when we bought it, it had to be practically knocked down and rebuilt as when building work started they found there were no foundations to part of the house. But we fell in love with it despite nicknaming it 'the money pit' for a few years! we could see the potential albeit with a lot of imagination! It took a lot of hard work and even more money to get it to the standard it is today. We have spent every holiday at the house working on it renovating the building into a lovely 2 bedroomed and one bathroom holiday cottage. We redecorate every year and take pride in presenting it in the best way we can.

We love Les Hirondelles, the sun pours in to the room all day and the french doors open straight onto the terrace. We left one of the internal walls in limestone which looks amazing and although we couldn't keep any of the original beams as they had perished, we have left the new beams exposed to full roof height and have whitewashed them.
The garden has been a labour of love too and we have recruited a wonderful gardener now, Antoine, who comes every 2 weeks to look after it. We invested in a ride on mower last year as the garden measures half an acre! We have planted a herb garden on the terrace for our guests to use at the suggestion of a past guest, which is very handy for barbeques.
