We stayed at the Blue Gardens Building in Barranquilla.What we liked:The location is excellent. Within about 0.3 miles there are two shopping malls, large grocery stores, and a Smart Fit gym, which made daily errands very convenient. The apartment itself was cute, and the building felt safe and secure, which we appreciated. The immediate area is quiet and residential, which worked well for us.What could be improved:The toilet had a small leakThe bathroom faucet was leakingNo toilet paper was provided upon arrivalNo garbage bags were providedNo kitchen towel or paper towelsThere was a table on the patio but no chairsOnly two bath towels were provided, and there were no hooks to hang themHalf of the refrigerator was stocked with items for purchase, which limited space for personal foodKitchen cookware was quite limited (one very large pan and one very small pan)The shower tile floor was very slippery and could be a safety concernNo basic cleaning supplies were available to wipe down the countertop or stoveOverall, the location and building security were strong positives. With some attention to these details, the stay could be even more comfortable for future guests.
