About this property

Bright, spacious apartment with beautiful fjord views just outside Ålesund (15-20 minutes drive from the city center). A perfect base for exploring Sunnmøre while still being close to the city. Recently renovated, fully equipped, with a lovely veranda and nature right outside the door. Guests may also rent our fjordside boathouse with SUP boards, fishing gear and a fire pan. Shops, restaurants and Moa shopping centre are only a few minutes away. Free parking, and EV charging may be available by arrangement (additional fee).

Hi, I’m Anne Siri. I’m in my 40s, originally from Norway, and have been married to my husband Andreas for almost 22 years. We have a 19-year-old daughter, Christina.

I love photography, animals (we have one dog and four cats), nature, history, books, sports, cooking — I’m currently deep into my sourdough era — and of course travelling.

I truly enjoy being a host and meeting wonderful people from all over the world. We always try to think of the small things that make travel easier and more comfortable, especially the little items guests may have forgotten at home. Our goal is simply that you feel welcome, relaxed and well taken care of during your stay.

When I moved here 21 years ago, it was the view that completely stole my heart. The fjord, the changing light and the dramatic skies make it feel different every single day — sometimes even every hour. That’s Ålesund for you. We can experience all four seasons in a single day.
I love being this close to the ocean while still having the mountains rising around us. It feels peaceful and connected to nature, yet we’re only a short drive from the city and everything we need. For me, it’s the perfect balance between calm surroundings and everyday convenience.
