The Old Manor House in Lifton, Devon, sleeps twelve guests in six bedrooms.
The Old Manor House consists of a kitchen/diner with electric range cooker, electric hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, and dishwasher, a dining room with woodburning stove, a sitting room with TV, open fire and woodburning stove, a utility, and a games room with pool table, books, games, Nintendo Wii, Xbox and DVDs. There are three king-size beds and three double beds. One of the King-size beds can be split into 2 singles . There are 3 bathrooms upstairs and a cloak room downstairs. Bedroom 1: king-size bed with large en-suite shower, toilet and basin (jack and Jill access to the hallway). Bedroom 2: king-size bed with access to large shower room via hallway. Bedroom 3 double bed with en-suite shower, toilet and basin. Bedroom4 ( within bedroom 3 at level mezzanine level via spiral staircase) floor based double bed with access to bedroom 3 bathroom. Bedroom 5 double bed with large en-suite bathroom, toilet and basin. Bedroom 6 : either king-size bed or 2 twin beds with jack and Jill access to large en-suite bathroom toilet and basin. Cloaked room on lower floor near kitchen /dinning area (toilet and basin only)Kitchen/diner. Utility. Dining room with woodburning stove. Sitting room with woodburning stove. Outside, there is an enclosed garden with gravelled area, lawn and patio, hot tub, sun loungers, furniture, barbecue and fire pit, and off-road parking for five cars. Two well-behaved dogs welcome, but sorry, no smoking or vaping. You'll find a shop and pub within 0.1 miles. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. The Old Manor House is a spacious retreat for a memorable Devonshire escape. Note: Dogs are only permitted in the slate-floored areas downstairs. Note: Good Housekeeping Bond of 800GBP applies. Swimming pool available in summer months.

This pretty community, once sitting astride the old A30 London to Penzance trunk road, is blessed with a village shop and post office, a superb pub, and 3 top-quality restaurants. At the far end of the village is an award-winning farm shop/pick-your-own complex with a good bakery and on-site restaurant. Well placed for visiting anywhere in the South West, Dartmoor is 20 minutes away by car, Bodmin Moor is also 30 minutes and all of the major beaches and Cornish holiday attractions can be reached in under 45 minutes.
