NEW Listing. Trafalgar Cottage is a stunning riverside retreat in Dartmouth, combining timeless coastal charm with elegant modern living. Set high in the sought after Above Town, this beautiful multi level home offers spectacular River Dart views from every floor, stylish interiors, and peaceful outdoor spaces, the perfect base for exploring Dartmouth’s winding streets, boutique shops, and waterfront walks. Regrettably, no children under 5.

Trafalgar Cottage is a moment’s walk from Dartmouth’s unique town centre and the many river cruises and ferries. Blackpool Sands is the closest beach, a five-minute drive or a one hour and half walk away along the South West Coast Path.
The property is on the South West Coast Path so, simply step out the front door to enjoy. Take a short walk to Dartmouth Castle and Sugary Cove, or take the ferry across to Kingswear and visit The Daymark to experience the beautiful views.
Families with adventurous young explorers are sure to love nearby Woodlands, just five miles out, where all-weather fun is guaranteed. With a mixture of rides, indoor and outdoor play areas, and even a toboggan run, you’re sure of a good day out. Or why not step away from the shore and take one of the many boat rides which can be caught from the waterfront, with sights to see including historical Greenway Holt, the home of Agatha Christie, and a selection of nautical wildlife too, from seals to sea birds.

Parking:
The property has no parking on site; however, you can pull up to unload in front of the main entrance to the property. Between 1st October and 30 April there are lots of free and unlimited spaces throughout the town, the majority of those being on 'South Town' which is the road below the property or 'Embankment Road' which is the road that runs along the entire river.
The main central car park located is just a 10 minute walk from the property and can be controlled using the PaybyPhone App or alternatively, the Just Park app can offer local alternatives.
During the main season (May-September) the 'Park and Ride' offers the best solution with regular buses running through the day.
Children:
Due to the nature of the layout with stairs, we only accept children over the age of 5.
Pets:
Strictly no pets.
Mobility:
Given the property layout, we would advise it is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues or young children.
Logs:
From 1st November-31st March, guests will be given a starter pack for the log burner. However, we provide details of where to buy more throughout your holiday in the welcome folder/guide.
Rental Conditions:
Prior to your stay, we require you to complete a pre-arrival form and sign & agree to our rental conditions.
