About the host
Hosted by Stuart
My name is Stuart and I was born and brought up in Scotland where I still live. My wife and I have been operating the apartment as a short-term let since 2014. I really enjoy liaising with travelers from around the world and playing a part in their visit to Edinburgh. Helping with tips, suggestions and recommendations is all part of the fun. I love introducing guests to the city via an optional walking tour of the Old Town, sharing the history and stories behind the growth, changes and events that have occurred that here over centuries. Edinburgh is a fantastic place to visit!
Why they chose this property
The New Town area of Edinburgh is very impressive with its architecture and green, open areas. It's very easy to navigate and very walkable to the sights, restaurants and landmarks. At the same time Cumberland Street is a lovely quiet sanctuary in the bustling city!
The cool area of Stockbridge is less than 5 minutes away with an amazing range of eateries, bakeries, traditional pubs and independent shops. The Water of Leith passes through here providing fabulous walks.

What makes this property unique
Having it's own private entrance is major advantage and helps make the apartment feel like your own special place in historic Edinburgh. Windows front and back provide a bright, airy atmosphere. It's such a lovely place to return to after a day of exploring and a very quiet area.
Being 10 minutes walk from George St & St Andrews Square, 5 minutes from Stockbridge and right around the corner from a bus stop means you can reach anywhere in the city centre within minutes.
