The Space:

Welcome to Baker’s Lodge, a warm and welcoming two-bedroom retreat designed for peaceful escapes in the countryside. With one inviting double bedroom and a cosy twin room, this lodge offers a comfortable stay for up to four guests, complemented by two modern bathrooms for added convenience.



Inside, you’ll find a homely open-plan living space, where soft furnishings, warm woods, and gentle lighting create a comforting and relaxed atmosphere. The living area features a charming indoor fireplace, perfect for cosy evenings in after a day exploring.

A fully equipped kitchen and dining space provide everything you need for relaxed meals and slow mornings, while thoughtful touches throughout the lodge help you settle in from the moment you arrive.



Outside, step onto your private terrace complete with a soothing hot tub and views across the manicured grounds. It’s an ideal spot to enjoy a peaceful coffee at sunrise or unwind under the stars, the perfect blend of comfort and tranquillity.



Quiet, private, and beautifully kept, Baker’s Lodge offers a calming countryside getaway where you can truly rest, recharge, and enjoy quality time in serene surroundings. This is a space made for gentle mornings, cosy evenings, and easy, unhurried days.



Guest Access:

Guests will have access to their lodge from 4pm on their arrival date.

Our on-site team will be on hand to support your check in and ensure you have everything you need for your stay.



Please note that there is one parking space to the side of each lodge, this is to be used by one vehicle only. All other vehicles can drive to the lodge to drop-off luggage but must park their car in the main car park for the duration of their stay.

There is strictly no parking on the grass at any times.



Quiet times are between the hours of 10pm and 7am and we politely ask that you respect your neighbours when using the outdoor facilities during these hours to ensure everyone has an enjoyable time when staying with us.



All guests can make use of the additional facilities at the Lodge Park. These include JJ's Bar & Grill, a Take-away Pizza Shack, 9 Hole Golf Course, Driving Range and Children's Play Park

Getting Around:

Allerthorpe Golf & Country Park is ideally located in the heart of the Yorkshire countryside, offering easy access by road, rail, or bus, while being just a short drive from the historic city of York. The park sits just off the A1079, around two miles from the charming market town of Pocklington and approximately thirteen miles east of York city centre. Guests travelling from the north or south can reach the park via the A1(M) and A64, with free on-site parking available, adding convenience and flexibility when exploring the local area.



For those arriving by train, York Railway Station is the nearest mainline hub, offering frequent direct services from major cities including London, Leeds, Manchester, and Edinburgh. From the station, the park is around a 25–30 minute drive, with taxis and car hire readily available. Regular bus services also operate between York and Pocklington via East Yorkshire Buses, and from Pocklington it’s just a short five-minute taxi ride or a pleasant countryside walk to the park.



Locally, guests will find a range of shops, cafés, and restaurants in nearby Pocklington, along with beautiful open spaces like Allerthorpe Common Nature Reserve, perfect for walking and cycling.
