The Space:

Gleneagles Lodge offers a stylish and welcoming countryside retreat, set within the tranquil surroundings of Allerthorpe Golf & Country Park. This beautiful two bedroom, two bathroom lodge sleeps up to six guests and combines comfort, modern design, and natural charm to create the perfect escape for families, couples, or friends.



Inside, the open plan living space is light and inviting, decorated in calming neutral tones with warm accents that create a homely atmosphere. The fully equipped kitchen includes everything needed for a self catered stay, while the dining area provides the ideal space for relaxed meals. The lounge features a cosy fireplace and a comfortable sofa bed, ensuring a relaxing place to unwind after a day exploring the local countryside.



The lodge includes two bathrooms, one with a bath and the other with a shower; offering both convenience and comfort.

The master bedroom features a double bed with an en suite, and the second bedroom provides twin beds, making it ideal for families or groups of friends.



Step outside onto the private sun terrace, where you can enjoy peaceful garden views and make the most of the outdoor seating area. The luxurious hot tub offers the ultimate way to relax, whether soaking in the morning sunshine or under the stars in the evening.



With manicured gardens, a nine hole golf course, and the welcoming Bar & Grill just a short stroll away, Gleneagles Lodge is perfectly placed for those seeking rest, relaxation, and a touch of luxury in the Yorkshire countryside.



Guest Access:

Guests will have access to their lodge from 4pm on their arrival date.

Our on-site team will be on hand to support your check in and ensure you have everything you need for your stay.



Please note that there is one parking space to the side of each lodge, this is to be used by one vehicle only. All other vehicles can drive to the lodge to drop-off luggage but must park their car in the main car park for the duration of their stay.

There is strictly no parking on the grass at any times.



Quiet times are between the hours of 10pm and 7am and we politely ask that you respect your neighbours when using the outdoor facilities during these hours to ensure everyone has an enjoyable time when staying with us.



All guests can make use of the additional facilities at the Lodge Park. These include JJ's Bar & Grill, a Take-away Pizza Shack, 9 Hole Golf Course, Driving Range and Children's Play Park

Allerthorpe Golf & Country Park is ideally located in the heart of the Yorkshire countryside, offering easy access by road, rail, or bus, while being just a short drive from the historic city of York. The park sits just off the A1079, around two miles from the charming market town of Pocklington and approximately thirteen miles east of York city centre. Guests travelling from the north or south can reach the park via the A1(M) and A64, with free on-site parking available, adding convenience and flexibility when exploring the local area.



For those arriving by train, York Railway Station is the nearest mainline hub, offering frequent direct services from major cities including London, Leeds, Manchester, and Edinburgh. From the station, the park is around a 25–30 minute drive, with taxis and car hire readily available. Regular bus services also operate between York and Pocklington via East Yorkshire Buses, and from Pocklington it’s just a short five-minute taxi ride or a pleasant countryside walk to the park.



Locally, guests will find a range of shops, cafés, and restaurants in nearby Pocklington, along with beautiful open spaces like Allerthorpe Common Nature Reserve, perfect for walking and cycling.
