気になった点 : チェックイン、コミュニケーション、ロケーション、掲載情報の正確さ
I acknowledge this is a budget rental, however the budget part comes in the distance (over an hour from London, 15 minute walk to the station) and in a sketchy area. After taking a 2.5 hour journey from Stansted airport, the location on the app was wrong. The hosts provided no house number and the “Get directions” brought us to the wrong place. After getting in touch with the hosts, they provided a house number which we ended up finally finding the room. We entered the room, and it was not clean to standards, hairs on the floor and in the shower, dirt on appliances, stains on the bedding. “Budget” doesn’t mean dirty. The shower then didn’t get warm, had to contact host again which then was provided with instructions (switch on the wall), which then it did get warm. The property was listed with a washer and dryer, we had planned on washing our clothes here as we had 8 previous travel days before this destination, and was out of clean clothes. The washer and dryer was broken on arrival without previous communication. After bringing this up with the host, who didn’t respond till the following morning, gave us a solution of bringing our clothes 20 minutes to the nearest laundromat, unfeasible for people on vacation to spend a day and extra money washing clothes. After all of this was said and done, we left the next morning to find a new place, and the host didn’t offer a full refund. I would recommend looking elsewhere specifically closer to London and in a better location.
