You are staying in a friendly and peaceful neighbourhood and we kindly ask you to respect the community and your surrounding neighbours. The following strict House Rules apply:

- No parties or antisocial behaviour
- No additional people are to access the property without our prior approval
- No pets are allowed in the property without approval
- No smoking is allowed at any times
- If you break something, please let us know

- To help protect all floor coverings do not wear any shoes inside the property

Please be aware that excessive noise such as amplified music, vocals or screaming or anti-social behaviour in the property or common areas can cause neighbours to complain to us, the Building Manager, Council Rangers or Police.

IMPORTANT: Any breach of the House Rules may lead to a $500 fine plus compensation for any cost/damage created and immediate eviction of the property.

Finally, when checking out, we kindly ask you for the following:

- Please leave all beds unmade
- Please clean up your dishes and put them away
- In case you have rearranged furniture, please put it back to the original location
- Please take out the rubbish and remember to use the right bins

Rented the apartment through Hotels.com, which advertised the apartment as having parking. Turned out the apartment did not. The parent company offered to reimburse for parking if I was able to find something locally. 1 misread sign and parking fine later. There was also no hand soap provided in the apartment.

The location suited us and had that convenience. It was a bit impersonal as checking in was online and for us lacked the ease of being able to talk to someone at the property. There were a few issues like some uncleaned cutlery, a damaged lamp in the wardrobe that was not mentioned before our arrival, some dusty areas and left over soap in the shower that gave the impression that the cleaning wasn't done as well as it could have been before our arrival. The vacuum wasn't very efficient and lack suction so was more frustrating and made us wonder if that was the once used by cleaners between visits.We would describe it as adequate but feel that the owner or manager could take a bit more time with the furniture arrangement in the living area as it was a bit poky. It was as though the furniture was bought because it was cheap not because it would work in that space. We never met the host except theeir agent by phone. So talking about the host does not really fit in here even though we were asked to be mindful of the home.For our stay the location was ideal and the surrounding areas are great for food, daily shopping and transport. Overall it suited us for what we needed to do but can only say it was average.

Perfect option for Port Melbourne stay

Location is 1 block to the beach, bike & running path, 2 blocks to the tram into Melbourne, 3 blocks to loads of coffee shops, bakeries, grocery store and restaurants. Very safe and convenient. In unit laundry a big plus.

The ence to transport and daily shopping was good. The lack of the personal contact was a bit off putting as there was no personal contact with someone at the property. The apartment itself had everything advertised but the set up was a bit poky, as though the furniture was bought for cheapness not convenience. It was good having the laundry and the other appliances performed well. Except for the vacuum which lacked power and if that was used by the cleaners between visits could do with an upgrade. There were a couple of issues with some unclean cutlery , dust and left over soap in the bathroom which gave the impression that a rushed cleaning job was done. The experience of not being able to contact a caretaker or owner on the property was a bit foreign to us and gave the feeling of being just part of business and not part of a home. It was strange to have the apartment referred as a home in our instructions before leaving which led to the previous statement. Any issues had to be done over the phone with a manager and some of the instructions were only clear after seeking further information or having to fill in a missing piece that was not obvious at first reading and looking at the photos. Not having a person on site may have alleviated some of that. Overall it did the job but also left a few things to think about. Not having communication with the home owner except through an agent left the impression that we were just a part of a business and not a respected guest. Hard to give a positive rating about the owner when asked.

Property was overall nice for a couple to stay a few days (thanks for providing an actual Nespresso espresso maker also for good espresso while there.....we just bought the capsules are were good to go?) We did not use the kitchen other than non-cooked breakfast, but it looked decently useful for 2-person cooking. One issue upon arrival was that getting the access key was not ideal (especially when arriving with suitcases). Key access via lockbox was behind building in alley-way, so makes it necessary to have taxi go around back (which we did) or else risk someone being in front of bldg by themselves with suitcases while other goes around behind to try and find the lockbox. Also, pics sent of lock box location did not look exactly the same, so it was not easy to find. We eventually found location, but then there were about 6 lockboxes and so we had to try the code sent to us on 3-4 of them before hitting the right one. Correct lockbox had a number on it to distinguish it from others, but I did not recall seeing that number in the "retrieve key" instructions company sent. But otherwise, very happy with place, and would likely rent again (especially since we now know about the entry key).
