History enthusiasts will love Corfe Castle (9 miles), where atmospheric ruins sit above the picture-postcard village and the Tank Museum at Bovington (2.5 miles), which showcases a vast collection of tanks and armoured vehicles. Monkey World is great for a family day out (2 miles) and for those bringing your four-legged friends enjoy forest walks from your door. The location has something for everyone.
