Discover the inspiration behind Dracula with a trip to Whitby Abbey and St Mary’s Church (3.5 miles), and spend time ambling around the fishing harbour and atmospheric cobbled streets of this charming seaside town. Hop on the heritage steam railway to cross picturesque moorland en route to the market town of Pickering, or set off to explore the multitude of bridleways, woodlands and waterfalls in the North York Moors.
