This stunning, contemporary cottage offers an unbeatable combination of stylish accommodation, seclusion and breathtaking views of Pen y Fan and Corn Ddu. Nestled in the heart of the Welsh countryside near Merthyr Cynog, this three-bedroom retreat is perfect for a gathering of families or friends thanks to its sociable open-plan living space and floor-to-ceiling windows.
Step through the rear entrance into a bright and airy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, where glass doors frame panoramic views. On warm days, slide the doors open to seamlessly blend indoor and outdoor living, creating the perfect space for relaxation or entertaining. The stylish lounge is furnished with plush seating for unwinding in front of the Smart TV. The kitchen is a sleek, fully equipped space with everything you need to prepare meals. Gather around the spacious dining table for a more formal meal or enjoy casual bites at the breakfast bar. On one side of the living area, you’ll find a welcoming double bedroom, a king-size bedroom with its own sliding doors offering countryside views, and a family bathroom. On the opposite side, the second king-size bedroom boasts an en-suite shower room and patio doors. Both king-size beds can be converted to twins on request. Outside, dine alfresco on the patio as the sun sets over the hills and enjoy the beauty of the farm and woodland that surround the property. Private, off-road parking is available too.
The cottage is 8.5 miles from the bustling market town of Brecon and 5.5 miles from the edge of Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park, renowned for its spectacular hiking, climbing, and outdoor adventures. Brecon itself is a treasure trove of independent shops, traditional market stalls, and charming eateries. For a day filled with literary delights, head to Hay-on-Wye (23 miles), famous for its annual festival and quaint bookshops.
