The accommodation has been awarded Gold in the Self‑Catering Accommodation category at the Devon Tourism Awards 2025–26. It has everything you could possibly need for a fun family holiday at your fingertips when you stay at this fabulous cottage, set on a 40-acre working farm. Take an early-morning stroll around the lake and watch the ducks, geese and moorhens, or play in the woodlands with the little ones before venturing to either the soft play area or the animal barn for a cuddle with the donkeys, rabbits and guinea pigs. Swim in the heated indoor pool, relax in the sauna, work out in the gym or challenge each other to a tournament in the games room. If you can tear yourselves away, the sandy beaches of Bude are just 17 miles away, with magical Dartmoor the same distance. For a family day out, the Milky Way Adventure Park and the North Devon Wake Park are both 15 miles away, while the Big Sheep is 16 miles away.

A cosy barn conversion set over two storeys, this delightful property has been carefully designed with high-quality furnishings to complement its stunning original features, which include rugged beams, vaulted ceilings and an exposed-brick fireplace. Step through the front door and into the L-shaped lounge, where you can relax in the plush sofas around an open fire and enjoy some relaxing family time, perhaps streaming a favourite show on the Smart TV. Tucked around the corner is a nook that’s perfect for quiet moments with a good book, or to set up as a children’s play area. The farmhouse-style kitchen/diner is another wonderful space, with a long dining table, a stylish kitchen and plenty of cooking equipment, including a microwave and a dishwasher. The two bunk rooms on this floor share a family bathroom, while on the first floor you’ll find two restful double bedrooms – one with an en-suite shower room, the other an en-suite bathroom.

For fresh air and outdoor fun, a sprawling, the enclosed garden offers the opportunity for children to play on the lawn or bounce on the trampoline. As they work off excess energy, adults can fire up the BBQ and enjoy some tasty treats at the picnic tables on the patio, plus a hot tub can be hired for an additional charge. Making arrivals and departures easy, you’ll have ample parking.
