I am a retired corporate video producer. I've lived in Pacifica since 1973 and love it so much I can't seem to leave. I'd like to share this special place with you if you come and visit. I teach photography classes at the Sanchez art center and stay busy exploring our beautiful coast line. My hobbies include kayaking and stand up paddle boarding as well as tennis and bike riding.
Why Edwin chose Park Pacifica
The room I'm renting is part of the main house but has its own private entrance as well as bathroom with walk-in shower. It feels like you have your own place because of that. You will have access to the deck and an eating area to enjoy sipping coffee in the morning or just sitting to read, a barbecue is available. The location is in the Sunbelt of Pacifica so it is much warmer than other areas. It is quiet and serene surrounded by redwoods and Pinetree's. It is a great place to relax in a great location for hiking and outdoor activities.
What makes this House unique
Great price for the quality. Plenty of free parking in front of the house, the location is walking distance to the Gem of Pacifica, the San Pedro Valley Park with miles of hiking trails, visitor center, birding and wildlife viewing. Beaches and surfing 5 min. from the house. The house is in the sunbelt of Pacifica, it is much warmer than other parts of Pacifica. Peaceful and quiet. Welcome!

Close to San Francisco’s—beautiful spot.
Pacifica is a quaint coastal town far enough away from the city to be peaceful but not so far it takes merely a half hour to get there. Edwina place was just as the pictures showed, tastefully decorated and Hedy, Edwina sister, was a wonderful host. Thanks, Hedy, for all your hospitality! We would love to stay here again, if we're ever in the area!
Pleasant stay at Hummingbird Lane
I stayed at the Hummingbird Lane suite for 5 days while attending a workshop in Pacifica. The room and amenities were excellent and very convenient to all of the Pacifica area and to south San Francisco. It was comfortable, clean and quiet. Edwin had provided coffee, bottled water, fruit drinks and snacks in addition to all the bathroom amenities. A bistro table on the deck was perfect for watching hummingbirds. Edwin and his beautiful dog Brodie were wonderful hosts. I would highly recommend it for a stay near the ocean.
Week of work
I was traveling for work, and wanted to get familiar with the surrounding areas, as this will soon be our home. Edwin was very friendly, and we loved seeing Brody, as we were missing our four legged son at home. The amenities were great, and the location worked out superbly for our commute to South San Francisco/Airport. Views, nice walking trails, and good dining options. Edwin had a list of dining recommendations, which was very helpful. I would stay again, if ever needed!
Stay at Hummingbird Lane
We stayed at Hummingbird Lane while my husband recuperated from a procedure at UCSF. It was much more comfortable then staying at a hotel. I would recommend to anyone that needed to stay in the City of San Francisco to drive a few more minutes to Pacifica. It is a lot less busy, much quieter and very close to the ocean.
Everything it was advertised as.
Great space, close to San Francisco and other great places. Clean and comfy. Really enjoyed Pacifica and it's views.
We are in a great location for not only peace and quiet, but midway to great sightseeing locations. To the north is beautiful San Francisco, across the golden gate bridge is Muir Woods, Pt. Reyes wilderness, Tomales Bay, and the wine country of Napa Sonoma. To the south is the beautiful coastline to explore and cities like Half Moon Bay, Monterey, Carmel Valley, and Big Sur. Staying right here in Pacifica can offer you beaches, surfing, kayaking and hiking its many ocean view trails.
