There is a spot in the higher, more secluded part of Costa Paradiso where the scenic road that runs along the sea curves through the rock: this is where Villa La Vela stands, nestled between the wind and the horizon. Recently renovated, its architecture nestles against the rock and seems to curve just like the road above it. The 180° view is breathtaking from morning until sunset, when the Gulf of Asinara bursts with color.
The villa has been reborn in a new form: two independent units, designed to be enjoyed together or with the right amount of privacy, while maintaining a single unifying theme—the exclusive feeling of home, sailing on the sea.
Access is via a staircase leading to the first level of the accommodations, where the villa’s two distinct spaces welcome you:
1) Mediterraneo (main unit)
Spacious and fully equipped, perfect for those seeking comfort and well-organized spaces: living area with kitchenette, dining area with guest bathroom, master bedroom with private sitting area and en suite bathroom. Extra sleeping accommodations: one sofa bed + two single sofa beds (ideal for families or visiting guests). A generous ocean-facing veranda, divided into two areas: one more open for lunches and dinners, and one more private and fully sheltered with a sink area.
2) Rifugio (separate unit)
A small haven of pure style, accessible via a short outdoor staircase: a cozy studio apartment divided into two distinct spaces, featuring two single beds, a bathroom, and a fully equipped breakfast nook (sink, coffee maker, kettle, microwave). A small outdoor patio with exposed wooden beams and shady plants.
Perfect as extra space for friends or for those who want more privacy without sacrificing the same atmosphere.
The verandas that blend into the contours of the house, the green spaces, and the light from the sea are the soul of the villa. The pool is located on the upper level of the property, where there is also a separate, off-limits main villa: during guests' stay, the pool is for their exclusive use. A wooden deck surrounds it, and the view at sunset is simply unforgettable: the sea directly ahead and colors that change every evening.
