Villa AL Fresco, a cosy villa with fabulous exterior areas & private pool

Villa Al Fresco offers superb outdoor living areas in a tranquil setting although it is close to the lovely town of Guia with its great selection of local restaurants café bars and shops.



The villa has recently undergone some renovations and offers charming and cozy accommodation for up to 12 people (maximum 8 adults + 4 children/adolescents). When more than 8 stay, there are 2-fold out single beds in the living area of the main villa plus 2 single beds in the living area of the independent studio apartment.



Entering the main villa, the new white fitted kitchen is spacious and features a large centre island with an electric hob and automatic extractor hood /fan connected via bluetooth. There is also an electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge freezer, toaster, kettle, electric juicer, 3 types of coffee machines and an electric hand whisk. There are ample pots, pans, crockery, and cutlery for preparing meals.



The dining area inside offers a large table with chairs and a flat screen TV. Doors open out onto a lovely terrace area.



On the opposite side you find a laundry area that houses a combination washing machine with dryer and iron/ironing board. There is a door accessing the pool and garden areas.



In the main living area, there are ample seats/sofas, TV with +150 digital channels with a choice of some English, French, German and Spanish-speaking channels, Netflix and Disney Channel is also available. A air conditioning equipment and a high speed 1 Gb fibre Wi-Fi is available inside and outside the property with some sockets (RJ45) available in the kitchen area that allows direct, and faster access to the internet. The traditional woven bamboo effect high ceiling is a beautiful feature of this bright and airy room.



There are 2 single chair beds also in the living area that fold out to beds (188x80 cms). Two doors lead out onto the front terrace and the other two doors to the pool and garden.



Down a couple of steps there are two bedrooms and a bathroom. Both these bedrooms have 2 x single beds, small fitted wardrobes and air conditioning. These bedrooms share a bathroom with bathtub and shower over with thermostatic faucets.



Open-style stairs (in the living room) lead to the master suite on the first floor, with double bed, fitted wardrobes and air conditioning. There are also one private terrace offering views over the gardens. The master suite has a private bathroom (with bathtub / shower over) also with thermostatic faucet.



Externally is where you will want to spend your time as the grounds of the villa are quite spectacular, offering numerous different seating or lounging areas and the most fabulous huge shaded space, the Al Fresco dining area!



There is a charcoal BBQ and small sink, an outdoor pool shower and different level terraces around the swimming pool give the grounds a real quirky feel.



There are also grassed areas and gardens with beautiful flowers, shrubs, trees and plants some from the tropics.



Within the grounds is a separate studio apartment which has been totally refurbished. It comprises of an open plan living area with 2 single beds (each measuring 200x80 cms), air conditioning, a kitchenette, a bedroom with double bed, air conditioning and a shower room.



The grounds are completely fenced, and access is via electric gates. There is ample outdoor parking for at least 5 vehicles.



Pets - terms and conditions



Also be advised that this villa is a pet friendly countryside house that accepts up to 3 pets from our guests.

The owners have one very friendly white cat that lives outside, but sometimes gets into the house during daytime where he takes a nap. The cat has his own space outside where he gets food twice a day and also fresh water. Guests do not need to feed him but may pet him if they wish as the cat is very sweet. We also appreciate that guests don’t leave food, or any leftovers, outside as this may attract other pets from the neighborhood and can become a nuisance and a problem.

The property accepts up to 3 animals for the extra cost of 13 Euros per animal per night to be paid in cash at check in. Guests are required to inform during reservation of the house, or to the check in staff the exact number of pets that are staying in the house. Failing to do so may result in additional charges for non-disclosure of the real number of pets. In the event that you travel with more than 3 pets you can contact the agency to request authorisation to reserve the house. Unfortunately, we cannot accept any aggressive pets.



Electric car charging



Outside the main kitchen you find an electric car charger for guests use during their stay. The usage of the charging station is subject to fees based on the electricity consumed. This will be charged on the checkout day by the agency and must be paid in cash.



Guests are required to request to the agency to turn on the power socket to be able to charge their car. Please note this is the only socket available (and authorised) for cars charging. Any other sockets are not fit for car charging and can damage the main electric board. Guests are responsible for any misuse of the car charging. Costs will be given to guests based on current market prices which change on a monthly base nonetheless are on average half of the public charging stations.



Areas not refurbished yet



Please be informed that the 2 bathrooms in the main house (although they are fully functional and clean) are not refurbished yet. There are plans to fully refurbished the master suite bathroom before Spring of 2026.



All reservations include a full clean upon departure.

If your reservation is for 12 nights or more, then a change of bed sheets and towels mid-stay is also included.

If you wish you can book a towel change mid-stay with small light cleaning service for an additional cost of 30 Euros per request.



This is a self-catering property. We do not provide any cleaning products except for a small starter pack, therefore it is your responsibility to purchase or bring these items. We will provide toilet rolls for each toilet but these are not replenished during your stay.



Please note, we do not accept reservations from groups aged under 18. For reservations from people aged 18 to 24 years, a 200 Euro security deposit each person will be payable in cash at check in. This would be refunded after an inspection and cleaning of the villa, providing everything was Ok, up until 10 days after check out via bank transfer.
