This is a spacious one storey villa with a lovely garden and pool area. It has stunning views of the sea and the Marina of Albufeira. It is a short walk to the supermarket and other amenities.
Access via several flights of steps.
Inside the villa to the left side is a the master double bedroom with en suite bathroom and the other 2 twin bedrooms are the other side of the house with a shared bathroom.
There is a open plan living/ dining area with door out to the garden, lawn, spacious pool and BBQ area.
All the rooms lead out to the pool and garden.

Air conditioning in all the bedrooms.
Free pool towels are provided.
Pool Depth - shallow 0.98 deep 2.15m.

The property was as described and clean. The pool was cleaned and tested during our stay. There was quite a few steps up to the property which was a slight struggle for an elderly family member and this was the only downside to the property. The furniture is quite dated but serves the purpose it is intended for and the kitchen is well equipped. It was a short walk to the old town and there is a supermarket near by. We enjoyed our stay as a family.

Simply the best

This villa exceeded our expectations. The cleanliness, space , facilities and overall location was outstanding. The views alone are worth booking for. We will be booking again a.s.a.p. thank you for a fantastic stay.

Booked this for my son and his friends to celebrate their birthdays and end of school. Chaperoned by two parents. It was ideal for both age groups. Great location

Our stay in Villa Joala

Overall we had a lovely stay at this villa. It was clean and had everything we needed, however there were a lot of hills and steps to get to the property and we had two buggies so this was a struggle.

Perfect

I had a great stay here with my wife and daughter. The villa is accurately described but even better than the pictures can show. It had everything you could need and is perfectly located in a lovely quiet neighbourhood in walking distance of shops, beach, old town and marina. The views from the pool to the ocean and marina are breathtaking!

Lovely Villa, with a really good sized pool 🏊

We had a fabulous week. Enjoyed the pool and garden area. Communication was really good. Would have been handy to have had a second set of front door keys.

The villa is very dated and tired and has too much furniture in the lounge. It's in need of complete redecoration and a refurb to modernise it. The garden and building is also in need of maintenance. The cleaners were in the villa when we dropped off our suitcases but it had not had a very good clean, the wall tiles in the bathrooms had not been cleaned and the bath in one bathroom was left dirty. The towels did not appear clean. On one of the double beds a quilt cover was used as the top sheet. Cockcroaches were coming in so we left the outside garden lights on at night to try to stop them. The photos definitely make the villa look better than what it is.

Amazing!

We all had such a lovely time. The villa is in a fabulous location with stunning views! Clean and tidy, plenty of kitchen equipment! Communication with host was friendly and easy. Transfers to and from airport were seamless! Maybe a few more cockroach traps needed but other than that cannot fault it! We will be booking to go back next year! 😎

Great family Summer holiday

The Villa is exactly as described, it was freshly cleaned when we arrived and we had everything we needed there. It is a little dated in its decor but is very functional and suited our needs for a family with young children. The views from the garden are incredible and photos do not do them justice. It’s a short walk from the local shop which has everything needed, the town for restaurant’s and tourist shops and the beach so we didn’t need transport however the walk back are a couple of quite steep hills. Overall we had a wonderful stay.

Villa is damp with mould beds was damp boiler leaking water on to fridge slot of the furniture held together will screws but not secure enough to sit on all clothes in wardrobe got damp felt like just been washed not dry also needs to state how many steps no good for anyone with trouble walking and need crutches no good for young families with prams host is very moody did send her message didn’t want to know wasn’t happy because she had to bring a safe key and wasn’t happy when told her about cockroaches got all pics said could send but now won’t answer need a new host with manners

Overall I would give the property a 7/10 rating. The location directly between Old Town and the Marina is very nice but it does entail a lot of steep stairs and steep hill climbing to walk to either. This along with narrow steep stairs down to the entry door , make it that I would not recommend this property to anyone with mobility issues. The house is well laid out and the Kitchen has newer appliances and has all that you will need. The furniture however is very dated and showing it's age. The beds were very hard and took a lot of getting used to. Some of the outdoor furniture is in disrepair such as the sun umbrella and laundry rack and they should be replaced. As others have indicated the pool is large and the view from out on the pool deck is spectacular with views of both the Ocean and the Marina and a beautiful sunset over the Marina each night. Our only real issues though come down to the cleanliness and insects. The house looked clean on the surface but on closer look there was black mold in the bathtubs and the grout in the tiles. A deep clean of the place is really needed. The other issue was cockroaches and ants. We killed several cockroaches in the home while we were there and the outside patios are crawling with ants which bite you when sitting outside. The cockroaches seem to be getting into the house under the door which leads out to the pool which has a large gap under it.Addressing these issues would make this a lovely rental.

Perfect location but dirty and dusty

The villa is perfectly located a 15 min walk to centre of Old Albuferia. Pool was a nice temperature but hadn’t been cleaned prior to our arrival green algae on tiles. Pool man came day 3 to clean. Wardrobes and draws had to be cleaned before we could put clothes in and the floor was dirty and dusty. Dining table chairs hadn’t been cleaned in months thick with dust. Kitchen was clean apart from the floor and all the floors throughout the villa hadn’t been cleaned. Smelt very damp and old upon arrival and the bedding blankets and bed spreads old and smelly. The villa is owned by an elderly couple and you could definitely see this in the dated decor and furniture. Outside we had to clean the sunbeds and BBQ before we could use them ! This villa with a little updating and a damn good clean could be fabulous such a shame the agents didn’t care or help with any of our issues just sent a cleaner to see the dirt but didn’t actually clean it ! I have photos of all issues if anyone needs to see them. Wouldn’t have minded the price if it had been clean and fresh but definitely not worth what we paid.

Great stay at the villa. Every thing we needed was there.Short walk down to the super market and to the bar/restaurant. Good location for daily walks down to the marina and into town.The pool was a great size. We definitely made use of it.Only thing not having aircon in the living area, it was very hot of an evening. But a great relief once going to bed as the aircon was great in the bed rooms.

Magnifique

Très belle villa avec vue sur la mer, très bien située dans un quartier très calme proche de tout (intermarché à 250m), Marina, plage et rues touristiques à pied, proche des restaurants. Très bonne communication avec Lesley, elle a su répondre à toutes nos attentes. Seul petit bémol c'est le ménage qui n'était pas top. On a passé de superbes vacances dans cette villa.
