Ce condo de vacances est situĂ© sur la falaise sereine, surplombant la plage de San Simeon par Pico Creek. San Simeon est la porte d'entrĂ©e de Big Sur, et une base idĂ©ale si vous prĂ©voyez de vous rendre sur la route panoramique 1, vers le sanctuaire de l'Ă©lĂ©phant, ou visiter le cĂ©lĂšbre chĂąteau de Hearst. Seulement 5 minutes au sud de Cambria pittoresque, qui est connu pour son charme, galeries, boutiques et restaurants. SituĂ© Ă  l'Ă©cart de l'agitation d'une zone de front de plage plus peuplĂ©e, c'est un endroit calme, oĂč les gens viennent se dĂ©tendre et rĂ©parer. Juste Ă  quelques pas de la plage de la porte arriĂšre, un accĂšs facile pour de longues promenades romantiques sur le sable. Location, above the waves, quiet. We were busy exploring the area, but the best part of the day was sipping a glass of wine, watching a lone surfer, surrounded by birds diving for fish. So comfortable and clean. Only complaint is the lock on the dumpster needs oiling or replacement.We will be back next year.

 the weather and temperatures!! Only drawback was one bedroom

This place is a keeper!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I can see no reason to stay at any other place on the Central California coast, as this one is absolutely perfect! The location is unparalleled, sitting on the edge of about a 20 foot high bluff over the beach, with the back door opening from the living/dining area right onto a flagstone patio with comfortable Adirondack chairs, overlooking the beach. The dining table has a view to die for, and sits in front of large plate glass windows that uniquely meet at an angle, affording a view up and down the beach in both directions. The kitchen is well-stocked (I love to cook, and am rather picky about this), the bed in the master bedroom (the only one we have slept on) is quite comfortable, and the en suite bathroom has a spacious walk-in shower. Any interactions with the manager on site (great guy, sometimes staying in the condo directly above), and staff in Cambria, have always been excellent. This is our second stay here, and unlike the first visit, this time I was unable to get the gas fireplace lit, but no matter, the ocean and beach views trump all. Be prepared for some spectacular sunsets! And with everything on the ground floor, it is perfect for us, as my wife uses a walker and wheelchair. I seriously will not consider staying at any other place now on the coast.

Fantastic property, great location

What a beautiful stay right on the ocean with a private staircase down to the beach. Well maintained property. We can’t wait to come back. Be advised you’ll need to stop in Cambria on the way in to sign a contract before you can get the door code. No idea why this is necessary given the contract through Vrbo, but it isn’t too much out of the way, unless you’ve been driving all day and paperwork isn’t high on your todo list.

Reviewer Comments: Superb quiet location (except for the pounding of the surf!) with great views of sea life and the coast line - very relaxing! I would say if this unit is only in fair condition - many of the electrical outlets are “sprung” and need to be replaced, and we had flickering of the lights in one bedroom. For the most part, the furniture and decor it’s also dated. On the positive side, the bathrooms and kitchen have been recently remodeled.

One of the only things missing was the sun.

This unit is accurately described, and comfortable stay in for two for a weekend. The living room is set up a bit awkward with a couch along the wall facing the TV, then a table, and then two recliner lounges, also facing the TV. (not a comfortable arrangement, for us, anyway). Also, it would be nice if some of the windows opened in the living area. All in all, it was amazing to be right on the beach and we got to enjoy one beautiful sunset!
