The Space:

Downstairs consists of a open plan living/ dining area, the kitchen and bathroom are located to the back of the property. The kitchen is fully equipped and leads out onto the garden. The bathroom has a walk in shower, toilet and sink.



Upstairs, you have the back bedroom with a king size bed in. The front bedroom has two, single beds.

The cottage is typically self check. You will receive a code within 48 hours of your check in date.

Although the road may occasionally be closed for maintenance, the journey is well worth it for the stunning vistas. Another popular destination is the Bwlch Mountain, known for its challenging walks and panoramic views. The Bwlch Mountain Walk takes you to one of the most scenic viewpoints in South Wales, offering a rewarding experience for hikers.

Getting Around:

Getting around Trehafod is convenient and straightforward. Situated at the junction of the Rhondda and Taff valleys, where the River Rhondda meets the Taff, Trehafod offers easy access to several key routes. The A470 connects you to Cardiff and Merthyr Tydfil, making it a primary route for north-south travel. Running parallel to the A470 is the A4054, the former main road that also follows the Taff Valley.



To the south, the A473 leads to Llantrisant and Pencoed, while the A4058 to the west traces the River Rhondda to Porth and further into the Rhondda Valley. A short drive from Trehafod is the M4 motorway, providing access westwards to Swansea and eastwards to Newport, Bristol, and beyond.
