Architecture with Soul

The building, a charming example of Porto’s late 19th and early 20th-century architecture, retains its unique character with subtle neoclassical details. Stepping inside, you’ll immediately notice the high stucco ceilings, which add a sense of spaciousness and lightness to the apartment. The original wooden floors echo the city’s history, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

While this apartment keeps the traditional essence of Porto, it also offers a minimalist and modern environment designed for comfort and ease.

The Space

- Living Room and Kitchenette

The living room features a cozy chaise-longue sofa-bed and a TV, making it a perfect spot to unwind or catch up on your favorite shows. The living room opens up to a glazed balcony, where natural light pours in, brightening the space. A dining table for two sits comfortably by the window, ideal for enjoying a meal or a coffee.

Behind discreet doors, you’ll find a fully equipped kitchenette. It includes an electric stove, oven, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, and a Dolce Gusto coffee machine. Whether you’re preparing a light snack or a full meal, the space is functional yet blends seamlessly with the apartment’s traditional feel.

- Bedroom

The bedroom is compact yet comfortable, with two single beds (80 x 200 cm). The room is interior, providing a peaceful atmosphere away from the noise of the city. While the room doesn't have natural light, it’s thoughtfully connected to the bathroom with a bathtub, allowing for a calm and restful experience.

- Bathroom

The bathroom area is designed for privacy and comfort. The sink and bathtub are located in one section, offering a spacious area for relaxation, while the toilet and additional sink are conveniently located in a separate space, ensuring both practicality and privacy.

What You Should Know

- No elevator: The apartment is on the third floor, accessible by steep wooden stairs, which may not be suitable for guests with reduced mobility.

- Interior bedroom: While the bedroom is interior and without natural light, it provides a calm and quiet atmosphere for restful sleep.

- Compact but complete: This apartment is not luxurious but offers all the essential comforts for an enjoyable stay in Porto, balancing historical charm with modern functionality.

- Soundproofing: Due to the building’s age, sound insulation isn’t perfect - occasional street or neighbor noise may be heard. We believe it’s a small trade-off for staying in a place with such genuine character.

￫ The property is Self-Catered. Complimentary basic items are provided for your arrival, including first-day toiletries, toilet paper, etc. These items are offered on a welcome basis only - replacements or re-fills are not provided.

￫ Bed and bath linen are provided according to the number of guests confirmed in the reservation. For stays longer than 7 nights, additional bed and bath linen will be provided for free at the check-in.

￫ The Cleaning Fee included in your reservation covers the check-out cleaning only. Extra cleanings or fresh linens can be requested during your stay and are subject to an extra fee - these requests must be done with at least 24 hours in advance.

￫ Check-in time starts from 17:00 to 22:00 (additional cost of 25€ for check-ins after 22:00). Only one set of keys will be provided.

￫ We are obligated by Portuguese law to collect our guest's Passport information.

￫ Check-out must be done until 11am. Before leaving, please place the keys on the main table.

￫ During the stay, the guest is responsible for the safekeeping and proper use of the property's keys. Please avoid leaving them in the lock or mailbox. In the event that a specialized technician is needed for door opening or in case of damage to the key and/or lock, the costs associated with this service will be the responsibility of the guest. In case of key loss, a penalty will be applied.

￫ For stays equal to or longer than 28 days, monthly utility bills exceeding €150 will be charged separately. By making the reservation, the guest agrees to these terms.

￫ Crib and baby chair are available upon request and subject to an extra fee.

CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT.:

- Please confirm your check-in time as soon as possible so we can arrange everything specially for you.

- Flexible check-in and check-out are available upon request, but only if the property is available. These requests must be done in advance.

- Late Check-In Fee.: 25€ after 22h00.

- Late Check-Out Fee.: Possible if the property is available, but it’s subject to a payment of a 25€ fee.

- Early Check-In Fee.: Possible if the property is available, but it’s subject to a payment of a 25€ fee.

CLEANING and LAUNDRY.:

- Bedding Sets and Towels are provided according with the number of guests.

- The Cleaning Fee covers the check-in/check-out cleaning only.

- For longer stays it's possible to arrange extra cleanings (with an additional cost).

- For stays longer than 7 nights, extra linen will be provided.

- The apartment is always cleaned by a professional cleaning service. If there's something that doesn't meet your standards, please contact us.

OTHER RULES.:

- Make sure you are up-to-date on travel restrictions/requirements. We may ask for additional documentation according to government guidelines.

- Children’s High Chair and Baby Crib available by request (extra cost of 25€).

- The silent period in Portugal is between 22h00 and 08h00, and night rest period must be respected. The apartment is in a residential area and you should be aware that social events and other activities that might disturb the neighbors are prohibited.

- As a city in continuous modernization, renovation works may occur in the vicinity of the building without prior notice. We would also like to remind you that the property is located in a residential building, where conservation or renovation works may take place during your stay.
