A walk up to the castle is a must as from here you enjoy the views out across the town to the neighbouring River Bran.
After a day spent walking through the beautiful countryside there are many cafés, tea rooms, delis and patisseries for you to relax in. Not to be missed is the annual Sheep Festival which is held every September and celebrates droving, sheep farming and the wool industry.
