DESCRIPTION OF OUR HOME IN INVERMERE:
Arrive, kick back and enjoy this beautiful Executive home in the heart of Invermere - only a few minutes walk to both downtown and the main beach (Kinsmen Beach). Close to many golf courses, great mountain biking and only 22 km to Panorama.

You will know you are on vacation in the beautiful Columbia Valley by the stunning mountain and lake views from large windows throughout the home or from any of the five large balconies front and back.

This home has been redone in 2018 and fully equipped so you can enjoy a relaxing, hassle-free vacation in a beautiful home in an awesome location.

Here's a high level tour of what to expect...

The MAIN LIVING AREA is situated on the upper floor in order to maximize the incredible views. The kitchen, dining area and family room are part of this bright, open-concept, space. There's a beautiful fireplace, large screen TV and the kitchen has everything you need to cook great meals if you choose. In this bright open area, everyone will feel like they are part of the activities and you can bring the outdoors in with access to decks both front and back. The large master bedroom with a sitting area is also on this floor.

Below on the main floor, you will find a large REC ROOM. Just like the floor above, there is access to a front deck as well as a back deck which has stairs to the fully fenced in back yard. In this space, you’ll find a second fireplace and another large screen TV. This can be a great area for the kids to hang out and have their own space.

The home has three BEDROOMS with a total of 4 beds which will sleep up to 8 in beds and with two queen sofa beds there is room to spread out.

In the spacious master suite, you will find a king bed as well as a new queen sofa bed in the sitting area sleeping up to four. There are two ensuites and a walk-in closet in this space. The first bathroom has double sinks and a dual shower while the second ensuite has a single sink and a jetted bathtub. From the master bedroom you have direct access to the large front deck or your own private deck at the back. This is a lovely space to retreat to.

The second bedroom on the main floor has 2 new queen beds and sleeps up to 4 and enjoys mountain views.

The third bedroom also on the main floor has 1 new queen bed and sleeps 2 and also has mountain views.

The second sofa bed is in the rec room on the main floor for larger groups.

This home sleeps 8 in order to align with local short-term rentals rules and is ideal for extended family vacations or multi-family groups.

In addition...

There is a LAUNDRY ROOM on the main floor and you are welcome to use the washer and dryer along with the iron, ironing board and laundry supplies. There’s a secured GARAGE and a good sized U-shaped DRIVEWAY for parking. There's room to park your boat and the public boat launch is right down the street.

This property has everything you need for a fantastic home-away-from-home family vacation in the quaint town of Invermere in the gorgeous Columbia Valley.

PLEASE NOTE: THERE IS ALSO AN OPTION TO OPEN UP THE FULLY DEVELOPED WALK OUT BASEMENT THAT HAS 2 ADDITIONAL QUEEN BEDS AND A FULL BATHROOM IF YOU WANT MORE SPACE AND BEDS. RATE IS $100/NIGHT PLUS $95 CLEANING FEE. IF THIS IS OF INTEREST, PLEASE LET US KNOW AND WE WILL SEND YOU A CUSTOM QUOTE INCLUDING THIS ADD ON. THIS OPENS UP A LOT OF ADDITIONAL SPACE --- FULL HOUSE INCLUDING THE WALK OUT BASEMENT IS 4,000 SQUARE FEET. Lots of room for everyone!!

About the area...

Invermere is a friendly, casual town nestled in the Columbia Valley between the Canadian Rockies and Purcell mountain range. There’s a weekly farmers market in the summer, a delicious bakery, boutique shops, a vibrant arts scene and world-class recreation at its doorstep. It’s a short drive to Panorama Mountain Resort, a world class ski and recreation area as well as the nearby towns of Radium and Fairmont and their hot springs.

In the summer, you can enjoy the town, golfing, hiking, biking, kayaking, sight-seeing, and all of the typical lake activities.

In the winter, Lake Windermere boasts the longest skating path in the world along with groomed cross country and snowshoe trails and world class ski resorts are nearby. Panorama is only 22 km from Invermere.

Invermere is a beautiful mountain and lake destination within a 3 hour drive of Calgary and has something for everyone. It’s a great place for a wonderful family vacation and we look forward to providing you with a great place to call home while you’re here.

Por qué eligió esta propiedad

We have been vacationing in Invermere for many years and recently decided to start thinking about buying a place of our own. When we found this place we fell in love with it. The location was fantastic from our point of view. We love being able to walk into town and that the beach is minutes away. But even more importantly we wanted to feel like we were out of the city at our mountain / lake retreat so views were a must for us. When we saw the views from both the front and back of this house of mountains and even the lake, we knew we had found the right place.

This is an amazing property. It's a solid home in a phenomenal location with incredible views in all directions. Pretty much everything in the house is new as of Jan 2018. New furniture, new beds, new linens, new TV's, freshly painted etc etc. Our goal has been to make this an incredible place to come both for us and our guests.
