Fort Augustus Abbey is a wonderful place to enjoy your holiday or short break. This apartment is within a beautiful Grade A listed building, set amongst 20 acres of private grounds, surrounded by mysterious Loch Ness, two rivers, and the picturesque Caledonian Canal. Minutes from apartment is the very pretty village of Fort Augustus which lies on the banks of the Caledonian Canal, that takes boats onto Loch Ness. This bustling Highland village has shops, restaurants, bars and boat trips. Inverness and Fort William are both just a 45-minute drive away. The Isle of Skye is an just over an hour away, and one of the most beautiful drives in Scotland taking you through the Kintail mountain range. On route, Eileen Donan Castle, which is definitely worth a visit as is the beautiful coastal village Plockton and a stop off at Applecross Inn.
