About this property

Church Cottage, Stiffkey, Norfolk

A fabulous gem of a house tucked just down from the winding coast road that runs through the much-loved village of Stiffkey, Church Cottage oozes sociable, relaxed living with Scandi-style interiors promoting an overall ambient vibe. Ideal for all manner of holidaymakers who love the big outdoors as well as the charms of this pretty village known for its Stewkey Blues, a local blue cockle.

Built in the 1980s, Church Cottage is a brick and flint detached house and has in recent years been upgraded and extended to both the front and rear, enabling an open-plan spacious living area on the ground floor to be created. This has now become the main hub of the house and, with a roof lantern overhead and a wall of both full length bi-fold and french doors, benefits from a light-filled and sunny aspect and the lovely garden view which, with its proximity to the house, helps to bring the outside in. There are two en-suite bedrooms (double and king-size) on this level, and the convenience of a useful utility/games room giving additional access to both front and rear gardens. Upstairs there are three further bedrooms (two king-size and a twin room that can be offered as a super-king size bed if preferred), along with two bathrooms, one of which is en-suite. To add to the overall feeling of quality and luxury in this super house, all the mattresses are by Emma which regularly receive 10/10 for comfort and support, guaranteeing everyone a good night's sleep

Outside, to the front of the cottage a generous driveway provides plenty of off road parking. The main garden, which faces south west, is the place to be when you feel like a quiet day at home, and fancy chilling out in a peaceful environment and, when the temperature and weather permits, contemplate or create a tasty bite to eat. The upper patio offers outside dining with a charcoal barbecue to hand if that takes your fancy. A smaller circular patio that sits at the bottom of the garden, and screened with shrubs and trees, is an ideal spot to enjoy a quiet read or that delicious coffee from the Stores!

This property is also available to book as a Sleeps six option under Church Cottage (6) (Stiffkey).
