The bedrooms include a king-size with TV and en-suite basin and WC, and a twin room, along with a shower room with walk-in shower, basin and WC. Outside, there is an enclosed garden terrace with furniture and designated parking for 2 cars. Within 1.2 miles, you will find a shop, and within 1.1 miles, a pub. No smoking allowed. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Sorry, no pets. An amazing getaway awaits at 18 Deer Glade. Note: Steps lead up to the property, please take care. The Neighborhood:
Pokesdown is a small village, which lies just east of Boscombe and west of Southbourne, and is bustling with bars and eateries for all tastes and budgets, including; a seafood restaurant, fish and chips, a tapas bar, a bakery, a microbrewery, cafes, takeaways, pubs and sports bars, as well as plenty of shops to explore and grab any essentials you may need during your stay. There is also a train station, two lovely golf courses nearby, a skate park and the Vitality Stadium, which is the home ground for AFC Bournemouth. Within a short drive, you can enjoy the gorgeous sandy beach at Boscombe with its restored Victorian pier, or head a little further along the coast the Bournemouth beach and pier, where you will find an amusement arcade and boat trips along the coast. In the opposite direction, you can head to Christchurch where there is ruins of the castle and the 12th century, riverside house with a rare Norman chimney. In the early 19th century, Herbert Druitt got permission to dig up Lock's Field and a cremation cemetery from the Bronze Age was found, and many recovered urns were set to the British Museum, and due to the later finding of an axe head, it is known that people of the Iron Age were also present.
