Excellent property in a lovely location

The cottage was excellent in all aspects from the owners meeting us onwards. It was very clean, had everything needed for our stay & the location was ideal for exploring the beaches & many places of interest. We would definitely recommend booking a holiday based in this property.

A lovely week in a beautiful part of the world. The location is ideal for exploring the wider area, but there is plenty to do locally with a walk to the beach or into Arromanches. The house is very well equipped and comfortable and has everything you could need.

Perfect

Spotlessly clean, well equipped, nice communication and welcome from host. Perfect location, easy to walk to beach, town and historical monuments, and to access supermarkets and Bayeux by car. We had a wonderful time.

We spent a wonderful week here as a family. The house is very clean and comfortable with all the amenities a family could need. The beach is very close, as advertised, and the location as a whole is just fantastic for exploring Normandy. Central for areas of interest but comfortable and quiet for a relaxed evening, we would definitely like to visit again.

Great property in Normandy

Extremely pleasant hosts, v comfortable property, v clean and all the amenities you could possibly need. Super location for visiting the beaches and museums relating to DDay which was the purpose of our visit. Lovely garden with great views. V quiet and peaceful location and few minutes from a sandy beach. At low tide, a great walk along the beach to Arromanches-les-Bains. We highly recommend this property.

Lovely house, very clean and very well equipped. Nice rural location with lovely views. Ideal base for touring Normandy and lovely house to return to in the evening. Very relaxing holiday, nice to play chess and board games in the evening as no wifi or english tv which wAs great, even our 15 year old did not miss it! Owners very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Hope to return.

Wonderful property and great location

We were met at the property by Roland and his wife. They were both very friendly and welcoming. They explained various features of the house and gave us advice on the best locations for supermarkets and bread shops. The house was spotlessly clean and the kitchen exceptionally well equipped. The location is quiet and peaceful. The property has excellent views of countryside from the rear patio. There is a short walk down into Arromanches. The path is a steep hill but the views of the bay and the remains of the Mulberry harbour make it worthwhile. We had a wonderful week with many pre-breakfast walks along the beach to Asnelles, stopping for a coffee and pastry on the way back.

Comfortable House In A Prime Location

The house is set along a quiet road looking out onto peaceful countryside. It is airy and light, well furnished, with all modern conveniences, including a secure garage. There was plenty of storage for our personal property, and the house was secure, spotlessly clean and our hosts were very friendly, meeting us on arrival, and guiding us around the property - giving us useful information about both the property and the surrounding area. The sea and a fabulous beach was a five minute stroll away, and we were able to walk to and from both Arromanches and Asnelles several times. Bayeux is twenty minutes away, and Paris (via the train), just over 2 hours. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, and would be delighted to recommend both it, and M and Mme Francoise, to other potential guests.

Wir haben das Haus in einem sauberen und absolut funktionsfähigem Zustand übergeben bekommen. Die Vermieter Elisabeth und Roland haben uns umfangreich und sehr freundlich über die Einrichtung des Hauses informiert. Auch haben Sie uns weitere Unterstützung bei Bedarf angeboten.Nochmals unseren lieben Grüße an Elisabeth & Roland.Das Haus hat alles was man braucht und ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Man kann auf der Terrasse Frühstücken oder den Tag ausklingen lassen. Für Selbstversorger ist die Küche sehr gut ausgestattet.Das Umfeld des Hauses ist ruhig und wir konnten sehr gut schlafen. Wir haben mit Fahrrad einige der Landungsstrände besichtigt aber auch im Landesinneren Städte /Dörfer besucht . Auch Wanderwege sind auf kurzem Wege zu erreichen und der Strand ist fußläufig.Auch sind Restaurants und Bäcker / Carefour zu Fuß oder mit dem Fahrrad gut zu erreichen ( für ungeübte Radler ist ein E-Bike Empfehlenswert).Das Haus ist nach unserer Meinung ein sehr guter Platz um diese Teil der Normandie zu erkunden und dabei auch die Entspannung nicht zu kurz zu kommen lassenGabi & Axel 7 / 2025

St.Come de Fresné ist ein wunderbares Dörfchen, am Meer gelegen mit sehr ausladenden Sandstränden. Perfekt zum Schwimmen, Strandwandern ohne Überbelegung. Nähe zu größeren Badeorten und spannenden Kulturstätten wie Bayeux, Caen oder die Landungsstrände der Alliierten von 1944.Großartige Fischrestaurants in Fülle.

Perfekter Ort zum Entspannen

Das Haus ist sehr sauber, gut ausgestattet und liegt in einer ruhigen Wohnstraße. Der weitläufige Strand ist zu Fuß in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ein perfekter Ort zum Entspannen aber auch für Ausflüge in die Umgebung.
