I rarely leave negative reviews, but future guests should be aware of my experience.I booked this apartment months in advance after researching the location. For over a month before arrival, I sent several messages to the host and received no reply. Being told the phone had been lost did not explain weeks of silence.Less than 24 hours before check-in, I was told there had been an “emergency” and that I could only stay until Thursday. That left me without accommodation for Friday, Saturday and Sunday during peak season in London. As a solo female traveller, having to find last-minute accommodation was extremely annoying.The Wi-Fi details were wrong, so I had almost no internet when I urgently needed it. I eventually found the correct password on the modem myself. The TV also needed the satellite reloaded before it worked.To be fair, Communication improved once I was in the apartment, and I appreciated the later checkout, but that did not make up for the weeks of silence or losing half my booking.The location was good, the bed was comfortable, and the lounge/dining area and conservatory were bright&pleasant. However, the kitchen was tiny, the apartment felt a bit grubby, the couches were stained, and there was no toilet paper or shower gel provided…Disappointed again.Accommodation can have flaws and still be enjoyable. This was unacceptable because the booking fell apart less than 24 hours before arrival, leaving me without the stay I had paid for. I can NOT recommend
